Keeping Things Tidy

I am thankful to have married a very organized man. My husband proved to me that some men know where the hamper is, that blankets should be folded after usage, that papers should be piled and labeled properly.

I used to be a little disorganized as that is how I grew up. But like in many other things, practice makes perfect. I am not saying that I am always organized now. I can still be disorganized, specially with my thoughts. An everyday reminder to myself of the things I need to do, clean, throw, etc, keeps me going to the perfect path. Of course, tidying will never be possible with the use of tools. I have tons of folders and envelopes for paper stuff. I have elastics for everything that can be tied. Organizers like those from kendall howard are found in almost every corner of our home.

Some say we are too strict with regards to how our things are organized. They may be right. But for us, we just want to keep everything tidy, neat and organized.

SY 2012-2013 is Coming!!!

Oh my gosh! Is it just me or the clock really ticks faster each day? Of course the clock ticks the same way as it does yesterday. I just do not want to believe that in a few weeks, my little girl will be back to school. And she is not yet enrolled! My brain has signaled that I can already panic, but I will not. I will take care of the enrollment in the coming days.

My daughter has just began her official vacation (since we have been practicing for her ballet grand recital three times a week), but when she saw me looking for name plates samples online, she told me her picks and insisted that she wants them for the coming school year! She is one excited student!

Four Eyes

After giving birth to my eldest, I was prescribed with reading glasses. I can totally live without my eyeglasses on but I should expect dryness and tiredness in my eyes.

In my previous work, I am in front of the computer for nine to twelve hours a day. So yes, that is the culprit why I experience eye spasms and severe eye strain.

Since I left my work and stayed at home with my girls, I kept my glasses in my bag. I still face the laptop at night, when the girls are asleep, but I do not wear my glasses. Well, until a couple of weeks ago. I noticed that my eyes stated to hurt after a few hours of continuously looking at the laptop without ample light (since we only use night light). So here I am now, typing with four eyes. I know I should see my ophthalmologist soon to see if my eye grade has changed. I might be given another set of prescription glasses, if that happens. I hope they’re still the same.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
