Goodbye 2007
I composed a Christmas entry in my mobile phone but I guess, I’m not going to continue it anymore. Hahahaha!
So another year has ended and 2008 has began. As we returned here in QC yestarday, it made me realize that I’ve learned so much last year. Then I decided to share them here.
Things I learned last year:
- breastfeed
- change nappies
- bathe a baby
- carry a baby
- the importance of burping a baby
- a baby will walk faster without a walker
- why do babies cry
- patience is key to deal with a colicky baby
- accept the things you cannot change
- how to properly make the bed
- what is a SAHM and a WAHM
- you cannot feed a baby with just any solid food
- the wonders of hydrocortizone cream
- why we should not be bothered of the numbers we get during baby wellness checkups
- how to help a baby grow and develop
- the importance of give and take
- mommying is a wonderful experience
- reading about mommying is not boring
- a baby can say “da-da” easier than mama (at least for Ayex)
- having a baby is way far from being just married
- God is always there
If I will go on with the list, I’ll probably have tons of things listed here. Anyways, I think these are some of the most important “things” I learned last year. I’m definitely looking forward for 2008.
Goodbye to my nokia 6230
I’ve been so envious of my sisters who were able to change their mobile phone units faster than me. So finally, I decided that I’ll sell my 37-month old Nokia 6230. Yeah, you read it right. I was one of those people who got hold of this smart phone phone first! Hahaha!
I don’t really have any complaints with my unit. It’s just that I realized how old it is already and the camwhore in me is dying to get a new phone with a better camera. So why didn’t I just buy myself a digicam? Simple, I don’t have the moolah!
So going back, I loved my Nokia 6230. I found it very smart and useful. It will never last for three years in my hands if I’m not happy with it, right? So when I was 110% sure that I’m going to sell it, I posted it in ebay.ph. Luckily, somebody wanted to be my phone’s new master. I sold it at PHP 3,800.00. The unit with original casing, 64 MB memory card, original battery, box, manual, product cd, and 3 other casing. I realized that it was all original, never been opened or anything. Except that I lost the charger when it was only 1-month old.
When it was finally sold, I wanted to go senti about it. I said I’m going to write a blog with its picture. However, my hubby already shipped it when I was asking him to take a picture of it. Anyways, here’s some of the amazing details I got from my Nokia 6230. Thanks to Efren Lamoglia for sending these to me.
