Pinay Mommies Community Grand Meet-up

I am so excited that it is already Friday today. Just two more sleeps and I will finally meet the super mom who conceptualized Pinay Mommies Community, no other than the kind and beautiful lady who writes Pinay Mommy Online, Mommy Rubz.

I have attended a number of mommy blogger events before but I am still very much excited for this one. I am anticipitating an afternoon overflowing with chit chat, matched with good food. How I wish Pehpot Pineda would give away eco bags again just like what she gave us during Sati’s birthday celebration. As for me, the tokens I will give to the other moms are already ready.

I’m so excited to also meet the other moms! Crossing my fingers to be in the venue early as our weekend is pretty toxic.

On Children Portraying Serious Adult Roles

Goin’ Bulilit is one of the staple TV shows that we watch on weekends. It is a gag show featuring children covering adult roles in various comedic situations. One episode really makes us laugh. Even Ayex finds it pretty interesting. Last night, their episode is quite different. Unlike the usual one that has full of jokes, last night’s was quite dramatic and evolved on a love story.

I think children portraying an adult role in a comedic manner is ok. Their sarcasm make us laugh and sometimes, we learn from them. But when these children act on serious adult roles like husband and wife complete with a wedding is kind of awkward for me. I mean, Nash is probably only 12-years-old to be a groom and his partner is too young to wear a wedding gown!

I may be over-reacting or being my conservative self but definitely, I do not want to watch Goin’ Bulilit episodes like last night’s. I want the good-old jokes kids perform. Besides, these kids are too young to portray real-life drama.

Dolci Amante

That would be Sweet Lover in English. This phrase perfectly describes a part of me. Actually, I think it is the culprit why I’m having a hard time loosing weight. What can I do, these stuff are hard to resist?!

Yesterday, after the long wait in the clinic for Maxyn’ vaccine, we went to SM North. We had a late lunch at Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria. I totally forgot that we just had pizza and pasta last weekend because I was so hungry already.

Anyway, we ordered pizza. They have an on-going promo, two 8″ pizzas for only PhP199. The little girl kept on telling me that she’s full and only wanted some gelato. Originally, she wanted strawberry but it was unavailable. She ended with Mint with Chocolate which I also thought of ordering.

While we ate, hubby left us because he has some errands to finish at Banco de Oro. When he came back, there are still some pizza but he wanted some pasta. I on the other hand wanted something sweet again. I ordered Frozen Cappuccino Mud Pie. It is made of layers of vanilla and coffee crumble ice cream in a tasty and delicious cookie crust. I super enjoyed this dolci. Its serving size is good for sharing for the price of PhP90. I can eat it over and over again.

I will surely go back to this place and will try their other desserts.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
