Friday Photo Flashback #1: Baguio Days

I think this meme is super cool. Thanks, Alicia for reminding me that we have a scanner that should be put into use.

Friday Photo Flashback

This is probably the oldest photo I have right now in my hard drive. I’ll surely get the old photo albums I have in my mom’s house this weekend and start with the scanning project.

In the photo above, we were in Baguio with our maternal grandfather’s relatives in April 2003. This is probably, if not the first time we’ve been to Baguio, the first few times we’ve been there.

In the photo, from left to right: Gabby (our youngest sibling), me (only xx years-old), Kevin (who used to be our only cousin from my mother’s side), and Toni (our second to the youngest sibling).

Join the fun and start digging for those old photos!

Almost Giving Up

I can’t seem to keep up with all these happenings at work. To make it worse, frustration is starting to plant its roots. What will I do? When will this end? When will I see the light? When will everything return to normal? Winking Smileys

Accessories Anyone?

I’m definitely not your typical accessories girl. I can leave the house without any accessories on, even a watch. That’s why when I organized the accessories I have at home last month, I was surprised with what I saw.

Nicquee's Earrings
I did not know I have this much pairs of earrings already until hubby bought this organizer for me from Office Warehouse. Well, it’s not really an earring organizer, I think it is a file organizer. Hubby took something from it for his airsoft goggles and left this part of the organizer to me. All my earrings used to be in the Hello Kitty jewelry box you can see behind this organizer. The picture above does not include a few pair of hoop earrings as I do not know how to arrange them here.

Nicquee's Bracelets
This is a DIY bracelet holder made by Hubby from scratch. I was inspired by those organizers you can find at the jewelry stores, most of time wrapped in black velvety cloth so the Gold or Silver will shine more. Hubby used two pieces of tissue bones for the stems and an old candy container from M&S for the base. He used some glue to connect the three portions together and finished it with some left-over gift wrappers.

Nicquee's Necklaces
Hubby didn’t really like the idea of this one. He said that if I place this on the wall, it will just accumulate dust over time. The last time I checked it, no dust yet. This is actually what we use to hang our belts in the closet, I don’t know exactly what is is called. I just thought it would be easier for me if I can see all my necklaces so I can choose better and faster. You know you tend to wear the same thing over and over again because you forgot there is something else in there. Hahahaha!

Nicquee's Watches
If there’s any accessory that I wear MOST of the time, that would be watches. I just hate it when I have to look at my mobile phone to check them time! Still, I forget to wear one sometimes. I just like buying watches specially when I pass by the tiangges in Cubao where in they sell fashion watches at two pieces for PhP100, with free replacement batteries! Isn’t that a very good deal?

Photos above does not include the two gold plated sets I have. I wonder now why do I always look at accessories and buy them but forget to use them. X(

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
