It is That Time Again

I am my monstrous self again lately. I get irritated easily and a lot. It does not help at all that the girls are becoming smarter each day that they do stuff that adds insult to the injury. There are times when Maxyn will not eat properly and when I start eating, she would cling to me. She also keeps on climbing on things, I feel like I will have a heart attack if she falls. Ayex will tell me how to do things which I perfectly know. She answers back and reasons out like an adult. I know these are small things but they keep on happening recently and they are driving me nuts already. I feel sad and guilty about what is happening. I really hope my patient self will come soon to redeem me. Lord, help me.

I Heart Lay Bare Waxing Salon

I am a month overdue for my underarm waxing schedule. Today, I sneaked out, left Maxyn with Ate Rose, and went to Lay Bare Waxing Salon in Congressional after dropping Ayex to school.

They just renovated their place. There are now six private cubicles and the flooring is much nicer than before. Ate Mheann, my usual therapist is free when I came in so I did not wait.

At first, I was only up for underarm waxing. For one, I thought the money in my wallet is just enough for that. And second, I did not notice the my eyebrows have become bushy until I saw them in their mirror. I checked my cash too see that there is still enough and I can have an eyebrow threading too. When Ate Mheann came in, I told her to do my eyebrows too. While she does my underarm, she bragged that they have radio already. And I could not believe that Lay Bare has their own radio station! There is a usual plugging of services and I was reminded of their freebies during a client’s birth month. You get 15% off on your total bill plus a free eyebrow threading! Isn’t that love love love?

Eyebrow Threading

I have a hairless underarm, I have pretty and clean eyebrows (that matches my personality) and I only paid PhP127.50, exclusive of tip. Not to mention that the therapists in Lay Bare Congressional are all very friendly and I feel very at home there. That is why even if there are other branches near me, I still go in the Congressional branch.

Mad About Elastic Ponies

Yesterday, Ayex and I went to Quiapo with my mom. First we heard the mass. We were lucky to have a seat because of the semenarians of Boronggan, who my mom knows. After the mass, our quest for Ayex’s United Nations costume began. In between store hopping, I bought this set of ponies. Cheap Elastic Ponies Why too many, you ask. For some reasons, all of the ponies I bought Yex before are gone now. She has medium-lenght hair and I do not want it scattered, specially on her face. Also, there are times when I play with her hair and make different styles. And since these things are cheaper in this area, I bought a few to keep. I bought these for just P30. If I go to the mall, the price could go as high as P30 per five pairs.

And yes, we were able to get Ayex her African (Comorian) costume.
