Are You Always Online?

It is sad but I realized I’m guilty of this. I am so into the cyberworld that even on weekends, I try to go online to do things that I am unable to concentrate playing with Ayex. Maxyn is still ok since she sleeps most of the time in the day. When she’s awake, after feeding, either me or Ate Em takes care of her. Ayex is really the crucial part. being That is why I can’t blame her if sometimes she throws tantrums before I go to work.

I just remembered this because I read an article similar to this a few months back. I’m afraid I’m already neglecting Ayex because I’m always online. I feel bad about it that’s why, starting today, I will make it a point to just create scheduled posts for weekends so I can really maximize our play-time. Or I will just go online when both my girls are sleeping. I don’t want Ayex to feel neglected and I don’t want her to grow up remembering that I’m always working.

If you are always online, I hope you are still giving enough time for your family. We should choose when to multi-task and when to not.

Customized Ice Cream

Last Friday, for a change, I only bought a Vanilla ice cream for our dessert. In my head, this is a good opportunity for us to use our toppings at home namely candy sprinkles and mallows. When I got, I discovered that we still have chocolate bits to add. Anyway, I didn’t realize that eating Vanilla ice cream can exercise one’s creativity. Below are the variations we came up.

Toppings: Chocolate bits, mini marshmallows, candy sprinkles, cherries and chocolate syrup

Toppings: Mini marshmallows, candy sprinkles, fruit loops and chocolate syrup

The first one is hubby’s and the second is mine. Nice, right? How about you, which combination appeals to you more?

Birthday Treats

I didn’t expect to receive treats for my birthday. I’m really thankful for these. I’m no materialistic person but getting something I don’t expect is always welcome.

Before I went to my treatments, I found hubby alone in our room tinkering something. When I asked him what he was doing, he flashed me a huge mischievous smile. Then he handed me a square thing wrapped in calendar paper with the following note in front.

Love Notes
I was super excited to open my gift that after decoding the numbers, I ripped the wrapper without taking a picture of it. I only remember to take its picture when hubby reminded me.

Ipod Shuffle Orange

My jogging buddy

This gift is very timely because I mean to start jogging to trim down my weight. I like it that it is orange. I’d like to commend Apple for being able to pack such thing in a very compact manner. This package already include the shuffle unit, headset and USB cable. Amazing, eh?

On with my treats. I had my much needed waxing treatment at Lay Bare Waxing Salon Congressional. They gave me a 15% off in my UA treatment plus a FREE eye brow threading. This is also timely because my brows have grown thick and messy.

The last treat I got was from The Spa. It was my first time to have a massage in The Spa and I can say that I will definitely come back again. More of that experience in another post. I used the gift card our previous boss gave us last Christmas worth PhP1000. I was booked for a Swedish massage in a Deluxe room. Since it was my birthday, they gave me a free upgrade to an executive room plus a PhP200 voucher.

The Spa Gift Card
Pampering is always a great way to celebrate one’s birthday, noh? The best part is, I only spent little on these beautification.
