Forever In Blue Jeans

52 Weeks is hosted by Carin of Forever in Blue Jeans. It is a year long challenge for YOU to be in a picture once a week for 52 weeks. We are always the ones behind the camera, this is YOUR chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. We are glad you are joining this challenge. More importantly your family will really enjoy having you in the picture. Thanks for playing along! Oh, you can just jump in now with 1 of 52, you’re not getting off that easy! Now go take a picture!

I’m lucky enough to have another picture to post for this week. I love it!

Last week, we went to Las Piñas earlier than usual. I took a leave on Friday so we end up spending 3 days there. Too bad we had to pass up for the Halloween and Family Day celebration here at the office. Anyway, my Friday was pretty accomplished. I cooked shrimp again after a long time, which I’ll share with you in another post.

In the meantime, check out the photo below.

Busy looking at the kids running around the pool

This photo was taken in a baptismal party hosted by Mama Val, Mon’s officemate. It was so timely because we’re very near to the place. It was a swimming party for the older kids. At first, Ayex is a bit confused what she really want to do that Saturday. First, she would say she will go to the swimming party. Later on, after lunch, she said she wanted to go to the mall and play arcade instead. I’m amazed that at 2.9yo, she is able to communicate already what she wants and resolves her own conflicts. So if you guessed it already, yep, we end up going to the swimming party.

The moment we went inside the clubhouse hall, she kept on peaking at the pool side and saying Ligo na, ligo na (I want to swim now). And the whole party hasn’t started yet because the baby we’re welcoming to the Christian world is still not there! Laughing Out Loud Smileys But I wasn’t able to keep her away from the swimming pool for long. After a while, I allowed her to dip her feet, which she enjoyed a lot. Later on, we found out that we likes that better than dipping her whole body. And you know what, before I could stop her, she stood up and sat on the water, soaking her nappy. I was then forced to change her into her swimsuit. What a very smart kid!

Ruby Tuesday #4

Wow, how fast time flies by! It felt like I just posted my entry for , but that was a week ago already! Before we all know it, it’s already Christmas time!

Ok, let me not digress anymore and proceed to my RT entry for this week.

Here in the Philippines, the two major fast food chains that are close to a child’s heart are: McDonald’s and Jollibee. Personally, I like KFC better but of course, I’m not Ayex. She prefers either of the two but if you ask her who is her bestfriend, she would gladly respond with si Jabee, pertaining to Jollibee, the mascot.

We celebrated her first birthday at McDonald’s because their party attendants where far better than those we asked at Jollibee. I guess it has something to do with the timing of our visit if you know what I mean. Her second birthday was celebrated at home with just a few friends. And now that her 3rd birthday is fast approaching, we kept on asking her already is she wants to celebrate it at a Jollibee store. We have proven that she likes Jollibee better than McDonald’s because if we’re asking about the first, her answer is consistent YES. If it is the latter we’re asking, most of the time, we don’t get any answer. So I think, Jollibee it is. I just don’t know if all will push through given the recent happenings in our family which I will divulge to you in another story.

For now, let me show you Ayex’s picture with Jollibee taken May of last year.

I ♥ Faces: Pink

I thought I would have a hard time looking for an entry in my archive for this week’s theme, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Luckily, I remembered that I have the photo below. It was taken during our 2nd anniversary celebration last year, which we spent at the Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park. It is one of my favorites photos. It looks to me that she is giving our holiday a thumbs up rating.

Sexy babe in a hot pink two-piece swimsuit.

I hope we can finally find a cure to breast cancer. In that way, more women can be spared from the pain. Families can spend more holidays and leisure with everyone around and they will all give the time they had a thumbs-up.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions.
