PhotoHunt #5: Anything Goes

This week’s PhotoHunt theme is Anything Goes. It means a free week and participants can post any photo they like.

Spider Crab
That is a spider crab. This photo was taken when we visited The Manila Ocean Park last August, during one of the holidays. Among all the species in the park, this is what Ayex enjoyed the most. I don’t know if it was because of the cold water it was in or something else. After the visit, she kept on saying butter crab and I couldn’t quite understand her until we were browsing our pictures again. Laughing Smileys

I’ve been wanting to visit this park since it opened but a lot of people told me to wait until it was fully finish. I was so eager because Ayex has a thing for fish – she loves them so much! Also, it will be my first time to see such scene. We also invited my Dad, Nanay, Ate Jinky, Gabs and Toni. Among all of us, Toni is the only one who has been there before.

It was a fun experience for all of us despite the heat. We all went home satisfied and tired even though we found out that some creatures are just magnified. Indifferent Smileys Still all the views were fantastic, specially the tunnel!

Be sure to check other entries.

Tickets to Sarah Geronimo: Record Breaker Concert

… are already in my hands! adult smileys

I left Eastwood early last night and was so glad that I was able to take a jeepney ride easily despite the drizzling rain.

When I got to SM Cubao, I asked a personnel where TicketNet is and she said it is at the second floor. When hubby came, I told him where we’re heading. We had to go up to the 3rd floor only to find out TicketNet is indeed at the 2nd floor! The SAs are not yet accustomed to the revamped mall that they kept on pointing us to the wrong directions! Grrrrrrrr!

We bought 4 tickets to the concert for Mama, Toni, Gabs and myself using hubs Citibank credit card, which I have to pay soon. Too bad the 15% discount that they’re offering are for Equitable, BDO and IAG credit card holders only. smileys

I also thought we could already buy our Disney On Ice tickets but they’re not yet selling them publicly until October 16. Hopefully by tomorrow, hubby can get our tickets because I’m sure, when they open it to the public, tickets will be sold out!

For the Sarah Geromino Record Breaker Concert, you can alternatively check this out if you want to grab tickets with better visibility of the stage.

Recognizing A Stoke Attack

I got the information below from Beng as a forwarded email. Actually, I received similar emails several times already from the past and I still think that it is worth re-posting. If we’re informed, we will be able to save lives – that’s for sure.

Doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S – Ask the individual to SMILE.
T – Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE coherently. Example: It is sunny out today.
R – Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

Now, there is a new sign of Stroke – ask the person to STICK OUT HIS/HER TONGUE. If the tongue is crooked, if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.

A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

I have done my part. Will you?

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
