Test-driving Motorola Milestone

My LG GT505 conked out a few months ago. For some reasons, every time I close an application, the memory it used is not returned properly. Alex was unable to use any of the applications installed, specially the games. I can only do text and call. Even the camera function was not usable. So I was forced to reflash my phone. And after just a couple of months or so, the same problem is back. Disappointing, yes.

Then one morning, hubby gave me a paper bag of one of the telco companies here in our country. I opened it and saw a new mobile phone. But before I can open it, he said it is not mine. I can just borrow it. It is an android phone and I got so excited to use it.

It has been a month and I have updated the phone’s software by myself. Thanks to online tutorials. I have installed different applications as well. From anti-virus, to games, to email applications. When I am bored, I play games. Most of the games I installed makes me think and I like it. I also installed games for kids because I share the phone with Alex. I will blog about my favorite games in another post.

Immediate Help From Payday Advance Financing

dollar Getting a loan may strike some people as a bad idea, considering how many horror stories we hear about people sliding deeper into debt with each passing year. “Americans don’t save. They spend everything they make and more” would be a common theme. It is a good thing there are companies like Pay Day One that operate on any level, and provide a service that many people genuinely need from time to time. Of course, a payday loan isn’t something you should be taking out every week, but sensible people already know this.

When someone says a payday loan every so often is okay, they don’t mean to imply that “every so often” means “every Monday, after a weekend of very expensive debauchery.” If you try to live like that, you’ll quickly figure out that unless you work on Wall Street and earn more than a million dollars a year, there’s no free ride out there. For mere mortals, you have to use some moderation and common sense in your spending patterns.

Review: Chicco Shampoo

It was very timely that I won a gift pack from Richwell Club that contains Chicco products during the PMC 2nd Grand Eye Ball last November. Maxyn has consumed her soap and shampoo and it was time for me to open new ones.

kid shampooI got two shampoos, a big bottle and a small one. Since November, Maxyn has been using the large bottle of Chicco shampoo everyday.

What I like most about this shampoo are the following:

  • It has a mild scent that lasts very long.

Maxyn is one active baby girl. She loves the outdoors. As soon as she wakes up from her afternoon nap and is done with her snacks, she will give you her slippers, a signal that she is ready to go out. Despite spending hours outdoors, her head does not smell like sweat. The fragrance of the shampoo is still in her hair.

  • It is tear-free.

Maxyn is in her exploratory stage. Since then, whenever she sees bubbles, she tries to catch them and put them in her face, close to her mouth, nose and eyes. Sometimes, she accidentally put some bubbles in her eyes but she never cried.

  • It has a clear color and thick consistency.

The clear color of the shampoo kinds of give me the feeling that it has few chemicals as possible. As mom, don’t we all want our kids to be safe from harsh chemicals? As for the thick consistency, even if I only use a small amount, the lather is always enough for Maxyn’s hair, very economical to use.

I am not sure how much each bottle costs since I got ours for free. But if ever we ran out of it, I will sure buy this product again.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
