What Happens After the Bus Bombing?

Right after the bus bombing that happened last Tuesday, hubby called me. He told me not to ride the bus on my way home. I know how he feels so I told him I will just walk. Hahaha!

As expected, everyone diverted themselves to the MRT. I know how MRT looks like during rush hours and if I have a choice, I’d rather take the bus. That is what I did last Tuesday night.

Yesterday, I had to go to Las Pinas and fetch Mon because he was not feeling well. I live in Quezon City so I am travelling from North to South. If I take the bus, it would take years before I reach LP. So yes, you guessed it right, I took the MRT. Lucky me, the management implemented tighter security and the queue was very very long. I knew that in my head as soon as I decided I will take the MRT.

So to everyone planning to take the train, you should bring lots of patience with because that is the way it is. Either you take the bus and wait in the traffic or patiently move yourself until you are able to get yourself inside the train.

On Baron Geisler Issues

Since the recent controversy involving Cherry Pie Picache and Baron Geisler broke out, I keep on seeing him on local TV news programs.

This is not the first time Baron got himself involved in a controversy. I just read that over the past two years, three other actresses filed complaints against him.

Honestly, I think people close to him should have considered his rehabilitation long ago. I am actually surprised that despite all the controversies he got himself into, he still gets a lot of job offers. Some projects were really good that he even won acting awards. Is it the script or he is really good at portraying his roles?

Seriously, I think he is one lucky actor. I know some actors become defunct after several controversies because they affected their image so much. With that, I think Baron should really change his ways if he wants to stay in the industry.

McDonald’s Breakfast

Last December, Connie and I, together with our girls, finally met each other after a few years of not seeing each other.

We agreed to meet at McDonald’s Alabang Town Center branch because it is located near our places. When we arrived, Connie is not yet there so we decided to order for breakfast first. I have the two girls with me and my mom. My mom took charge of the ordering. I just told her that we will have pancakes and hash brown. I handed her my purse to get money as I carried Maxyn.

A few minutes later, Connie, their girls and Gino arrived. We chatted in between bites while Dicey and Ayex played in the play area. It was a short meet up but better than none at all. I hope this year we could meet up more often.

A few weeks ago, I was running late for work and I have not had any breakfast. I decided that I will just buy from the newly opened McDonald’s near my workplace. I ordered for a pancake without drinks and hash brown. I was so surprised that the cashier was asking me for PhP70. I looked at their menu and found that my bill is correct.

I realized after I got my food that it was very long ago when I was the one who paid for a McDonald’s breakfast. My last memory of a pancake meal’s price is PhP29 that is why I was so surprised with my bill! I told myself that I will never have pancakes from McDonald’s ever again because we always have pancake mix at home. Next time, I will just have a Sausage McMuffin with Egg.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions.
