Chedeng, Please Go Away NOW

I just read in http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/ that PAG-ASA has upgraded Chedeng (international codename Songda) into a typhoon in their 11 AM press conference today. Chedeng has maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and is currently situated at 350 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar.

My mom is currently residing in Lawaan, Eastern Samar. While she said they are far from where Chedeng is now, we cannot stop ourselves from worrying.

Also, we have a company outing this weekend at Montemar, Bataan. This is my last outing with this company and teammates so I really joined even if it means leaving the girls at home for 1.5 days. It is the first time in three or four years that we are having an overnight outing due to recession. I am quite excited for this outing but I am worried that Chedeng might ruin things. I have made a list of things a will be bringing and even checked out some sterling silver pandora for my accessories.

I really hope Chedeng will not change her course and exit Philippines’ area of responsibility the soonest.

Final Week

In less than a week, I will be saying goodbye to my workplace where I worked for the past six years. I got very little time with me but I still have so many things to accomplish. I have not transferred my current tasks to Neil, who will fill in my post. I have not printed my clearance to have it signed by various people. I still have some pending tasks I want to do. Again, so much to do, so little time. I think stress is slowly creeping in my body because I noticed I have started to develop breakouts. I have not had this for so long because I am not really acne-prone despite having oily skin. May I should get nanocleanse when I am through with all these stuff.

Look at the dark marks the pimples left, they look ugly right?

Big School or Small School

Less than a month from now, classes will officially start here in the Philippines. I should be cramming now because Ayex is not yet enrolled.

As you may know, she started schooling at the age of 2.8yo in our hopes to improve her social skills. We actually got more than that as she came home with new knowledge everyday. But after she graduated from pre-nursery, she did not want to enroll for the next school year. She said schooling makes her tired. So she was an out of school kid last year.

This year, she will be 4.5yo come school time. Our pediatrician recommended that we already send her to school so she will not be bored and left behind by her peers. Also, her boredom is already driving us nuts. I have narrowed down the schools near our area and she has picked her choice.

It is our first time to really send Ayex to school and we are clueless what to follow. The school Ayex wants to go is a big one. Mon wants to check the other nearby smaller schools. I am ok wherever she goes because from what I heard, these are reputable schools. But when Mon asked why Ayex should go to a big school, I was not able to answer him. I really do not know where should we base our decision.

How about you, are your children attending a big or small school? What made you decide to enroll your children in their current school?

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
