I just read in http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/ that PAG-ASA has upgraded Chedeng (international codename Songda) into a typhoon in their 11 AM press conference today. Chedeng has maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and is currently situated at 350 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar.
My mom is currently residing in Lawaan, Eastern Samar. While she said they are far from where Chedeng is now, we cannot stop ourselves from worrying.
Also, we have a company outing this weekend at Montemar, Bataan. This is my last outing with this company and teammates so I really joined even if it means leaving the girls at home for 1.5 days. It is the first time in three or four years that we are having an overnight outing due to recession. I am quite excited for this outing but I am worried that Chedeng might ruin things. I have made a list of things a will be bringing and even checked out some sterling silver pandora for my accessories.
I really hope Chedeng will not change her course and exit Philippines’ area of responsibility the soonest.

Do you think Chedeng will leave the country by the first week of June?
ladyguinevere says
if we really could say that in order for that chedeng to leave us alone..

Wishes coupled with prayers are a powerful thing, indeed! Seems that alot of us wished for the same thing. That’s why Chedeng came and went like nothing even happened. π

It started raining hard just now here in QC. Praying for everyone, especially for people in Northern Luzon, Bicol and Samar.
