Kids Craze Toy Warehouse Sale 2012

I really wanted to go to the annual Kids Craze where branded apparel, shoes and toys are on sale, up to 80% off its first week but our schedule did not permit us. Plus my sister told me to wait for her homecoming before we buy the girls their Christmas gifts.

If you are free this coming long weekend and plans to shop for your kids, inaanak/s, go to the Kids Craze Warehouse Sale in Timog Quezon City. Brings lots of cash and a companion. If you can, do not bring the kids anymore as the place can be very hot and crowded.

OFW Family

OFW or Overseas Filipino Worker is what you call Filipinos who work for a living abroad.

I never imagined that my family will be an OFW family. Actually, they are my extended family already since my main family is my hubby and the two girls but still, it never occurred to me that they will have to leave us and work in a foreign country.

The first who left us is my sister-in-law. She is a physical therapist. Alex was only about 8 months, I think, when she left. She came home several times already but every time she has to go back, it is still crying time for Mama Ledy. She often call us through Skype (thanks to technology) to let us know how she is doing and to hear the stories of Alex and Max. Recently, She has been ranting on us about how hard it is in her current work. She is already considering moving to another place but has to think about it very well. She is currently in NC and is thinking of going to CA. I bet, she will be able to land on the best jobs in there. She could even land on the best rehab center in Orange County, that is Morningside Recovery because she knows what she do and is very good at it, actually. The girls are doing great in easing their Tita’s stress by dancing in front of her, singing, and telling her lots of stories, specially Alex. I know she can do it.

The next who left us was my Kuya Ian and Ate Anne. Kuya Ian is my older brother and Ate Anne is his wife. Then Toni left to teach in another country then just recently, Xen rode the plane to the middle east.

JUst like what we do to Ate Cel, we also call them via Skype to catch up with each other. But nothing beats physical togetherness. I pray that in due time, all of us will have a grand time together.

I Am Not

Dead. 😀

Kidding aside, it feels good to be writing again here. So what have I been to? Errr, nothing much really, except from the daily hustle and bustle of life. The girls and I have been sleeping rather late since my last post due to telenovelas. We are simply hooked to these Filipino television shows even if the plot is almost the same with the one that just finished. 😀 I told myself and the kids that we will not watch anymore because even their sleeping habits are affected. And what do you know, just when I told myself I am going to stop before the habit forms, the hubby took a whole week of leave from work to study for yet another certification exam. And you know, when the hubby is here, I can hardly go online when the girls are asleep because that is the only time we have for catching up.

Pregnant. :p

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have not been exercising much recently but I continue to eat pretty the same amount like what I have been doing. I still get hungry almost every two hours and give into the the hunger almost always. Someone from the waxing salon that I go to kidded me that I should be reading pregnancy guide again just in case I get pregnant again but I told them that there is really no plan yet for another baby. I just lost my post-partum weight early this year and I have not enjoyed my current body size. I do monitor my weight that sometimes, I feel like I am such a paranoid. Well, I just do not want all the hard work I did to go to waste. And so, I will exercise again, no more lazy bones.

So there. I hope to be writing again here. Shoo away, writer’s block!

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
