PhotoBlog: My Raffles Sale Loots

Okei, I apologize for not blogging again for more than a week now. I don’t know what kept me busy these days. There’s probably none – I’m just too lazy to write.

Anyways, let me show you what I got in the Raffles Bodega Sale I told you about in this post.

Originally, I planned to buy a Visions 5L Casserole. It’s price on last June’s sale was PhP1200 – but I didn’t have any money that I can spend that time, remember? This time, I was very determined to get it, even though I know I will just stock it. But I guess my determination was not that strong. After seeing that the sale price increased from PhP1200 to PhP2000, I forced myself to forget about it. Instead I got myself something else, which I just remember now, was supposedly my Christmas gift to myself. So Therese, I was wrong. I already got myself something – but I want something else…

Where are the pictures?! Okei okei okei. Sorry. Here they are.

This is my Christmas gift to my mother-in-law. I realized that whenever we cook pasta or pancit, we only place it in her plastic wares, which I think is not very presentable and appealing. So I go her this Oval Pyrex Roaster.

I partnered this roaster with a pasta server, which we also don’t have here at QC. I was too excited about these gifts that I didn’t wrap them anymore and gave them to MIL just the way they are. Hahahaha!

This was my supposedly Christmas gift for myself. The one that replaced my Visions 5L Casserole. This is a Pyrex Flash Non-Stick Pan.

I wondered before what Teflon is. How to use it? What makes cooking with it easier than the normal frying pan. And so thought, one day I’ll have my one non-stick pan. Not that I hated using the traditional frying pans but I just think that non-stick pans are really really cool! I partnered this pan with a long turner (above, beside the pasta server), because Therese and Shindie said, if I use the ordinary ones, it will scratch the Teflon.

Today is not my day

It is official – today is not my day. ashamed smileys

We woke up very early because the little girl has sniffles since yesterday and had a hard time breathing thus she can’t sleep well. And since she was awake so early, she’s already sleepy by the time we’re getting ready for work.

I was ready to take a bath when Ayex asked me to carry her. I tried giving her to Mon but the little girl would shout Indi! loud and clear. The she kept on pointing to our room. Once inside the room, she pointed to bed. Ahhhhhh. She wanted to feed. And so we did. 10 minutes have passed, she is still feeding. Her eyes are almost shut. By that time, it’s already 8:45 AM. I’m supposed to be ready already so Mon can drop me by Citibank building because we have lots of nappies to deliver. When I saw that Ayex’s eyes were already shut, I tried to stop her from breastfeeding. Great! She woke up and started giving us temper tantrums. I asked Ate Meriam and Mon to get her but she don’t want them to take her. I asked her if she wants to feed again and yes, you guess it right. So again we feed. Once in a while, I ask her if she’s already done and if I can take a bath already. I get a constant answer of “No”. So instead of leaving the house early as planned, we left at around 9:30 AM – thirty minutes before my shift starts.

Everything seemed so messed up. I had a lot of diapers to deliver yet we’re caught up in the traffic. Mon uttered that he will be able to get to his office by 12 PM – very early for the next day’s work! Of course I felt bad because I was the cause of delay. He has job too and it’s already a big favor to him to drive me to work plus the diapers. I resulted to calling my client and asked if we can meet at the other side of Libis instead so Mon won’t have to take the u-turn and head to his office already. Good thing my client and his hubby was ok with that. Still, that is not the kind service that I want to give them. Boo-boo again!

After lunch, Mon told me over YM that the payment I made for his Citibank Visa is still not reflected until now. I made that payment second week of November. Then he asked me I was able to put a date on the cheque. Oh my! Put a date on the cheque. I think I forgot to do that! I tried my best to recall how I did the payment. I don’t remember writing a date on his cheque. love smileys

I don’t know how else to compensate with this mistake. I’m strike two in a day! Offering to pay for the late charges doesn’t help that much. The investigation and all the hassles this may cause seem unforgivable! Hayyyyyy! I’m thinking Mon will never make me pay his Citibank Visa ever again!

Why am I so forgetful? I feel like I’m always lost!

LF: Canvas Wedge Shoes

One of my clients from our little online business, Ayin, designs custom chucks. Looking at her designs gave me the idea of getting my own pairs created. But but but. I don’t want chucks, I want canvas wedge sandals! The problem is, I’m having a hard time looking for this kind of sandals in the cheap tiangges we pass by every night. Huhuhu! After the jump, you’ll find the design I am looking for – not exactly but similar.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
