Light Dishware

We received several sets of dishware as wedding presents, which we kept in the cabinets until early this year. Hubby got fed up of using melawares and dug these dishware. Unfortunately, some pieces got broken due to storage mishaps.

Anyway, these dishware were the typical ones, read: heavy. So when I had a chance to buy light dishware during a sale in SM North Edsa, I grabbed it.

This is what we use at home now. Pardon me as I can’t remember its brand but the maker is also Corelle as per the salesman. Do you like it?

Arce Dairy Blueberry Cheesecake

Warning: This is not your usual blueberry cheesecake.

Arce Dairy Blueberry Cheesecake
You were thinking of the sweet-sour cake made from cream cheese topped with blueberries, aren’t you?

Anyways, it was my friend, Yana, who raved about this during our get together last month. She kept on raving about it that I included it in our grocery list.

This ice cream is not too sweet, perfect for those who are very prone to tonsillitis. The blue color is very eye catching and definitely unusual. It has cheese bits that melt with the ice cream in your mouth.

Contrary to Yana, this ice cream is just ok for me. Why? Because the ice creams that I enjoy are those really sweet and has crunchy bits I can grind with my teeth. Overall, this flavor is worth trying for a change from the usual flavors you see in the grocery.

Mint Chocolate

I have a thing with this kind of chocolate. It all started when we received several boxes of Lindt from a colleague who was sent to US for a training. While my first love is still white chocolate, I didn’t hesitate to buy this 3 Musketeers Mint with Dark Chocolate when I saw it in a store in Farmers, Cubao. The huge groceries do not carry this chocolate and I only get to buy this there. My hunch is they import it directly. Since I had difficulty in commuting during my second trimester, I no longer frequent Farmers so it’s been a while since I stock on this yummy chocolate. Oh well, I hope when I go there one of these days, I could buy a pack or two of this.
