Meet My Samsung ES73 Compact Camera

Samsung ES73 Compact Digital Camera
This is Erin, short for tangerine. I bought it yesterday from an online supplier. I finally have my own point-and-shoot camera that I can bring with me anywhere. This is actually hubby’s birthday gift to me, bought in advanced. Thanks, Be!

While I don’t have events I need Erin’s help, she will stay home so she can be used to capture my kids’ precious moments.

So why did I chose this model? I have a number of reasons.

  • Its price is within my budget. I got it for a little more than $100.
  • It has 12 megapixel.
  • Its battery is similar to that of a mobile phone, far better than rechargeable AA batteries.
  • It is available in tangerine, a shade of orange, which is my favorite color.

anti-scratch maskThis model also includes an anti-scratch mask as you can see above. I think it is perfect because Ayex loves taking pictures herself and I know she will always borrow Erin.

Increasing My Independence

As most of you knows, I have a diaper business which started when Ayex was only 6 months old. Back then there were only a few of us who sells generic diapers. That business grew and I gained quite a number of clients, both in Quezon City and Las Pinas. I’ve became friends with loyal customers and I’m thankful for them. That business in Las Pinas is closing now though. The delivery challenge took its toll and I have to let it go for now. Only for now because I still have plans of continuing it in the future, when I can do the delivery myself.

When Ayex was already big enough, hubby asks me from time to time if I want to learn how to drive. Two years ago, my consistent answer was I’m not yet ready plus I don’t have the time. I have a full-time work outside of home. On weekends, I try to spend quality time with my family, both in QC and LP. We go home to LP every two weeks so I don’t really know where will I get the time to enroll in a driving school.

When my mom moved to Samar, where she works now, we don’t go home to LP that much anymore. The idea of using the time we used to spend driving to LP for driving school occurred to me. I haven’t acted on it though. I’m still contemplating when to start. All I know is that I must start soon so I can reap its rewards. Knowing how to drive will mean I won’t have to be very dependent to hubby anymore if I need to go somewhere with the girls. It also means he will have someone who can take of the wheel when he’s tired of driving.

I’m thinking now of what car I will drive. Maybe a ford escort is a good option. I”m not sure though if the driving schools in our area has it. As early as now, the thought of repairs also crosses my mind. What will I do if suddenly I get a flat tire? Do they teach you about timing belt and water pump during the course? What will I do if I get into some kind or road mishaps?

I have so many concerns about driving but I won’t let them get in the way. I will keep in mind the benefits of driving so I will be motivated. I will also think of my diaper business so in the future, I will get it back. When that happens, I will be able to do the deliveries myself and meet my clients personally.

Fight Dengue with Bye Bites Products

Last March http://smartparenting.com.ph had a very tempting giveaway. The giveaway dubbed as SP Summer Snapshot gave the participants a chance to win a whole range of Bye Bites products worth PhP2190. Since joining was easy (all we had to do was submit a picture depicting our best summer snapshot), I made sure I have several entries.

I have a total of four entries and I don’t know until now which made us win. Yep, we won a whole range of natural insect repellents from Bye Bites. Thanks to my sister, Gabby, for picking up my gift pack for the nth time.

Now that it is Dengue season, these products keep my family protected and away from Aedes aegypti. Of course, other than using insect repellents, we still have to keep our surroundings clean to prevent these mosquitoes from multiplying.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
