ActiveFun Cutest Cupid Valentine Party

If you and your kids have nothing to do today, I strongly recommend you attend this event of ActiveFun. We were there yesterday and Ayex really enjoyed the unlimited play, magic show, games, and raffles. After the event, we went to Amici for dinner because I was sure Ayex and Maxyn will dose off as soon as we get home. I was right. I too was dead tired that I found myself going to lala-land as I put my girls to sleep. Because of that, I was not able to process the pictures I intended to share with you. Maybe later after my work.

Anyway, again, if you have nothing to do later, treat your kids to some fun and visit ActiveFun. You and your spouse will also enjoy as they also prepared games for parents. An oh, if you can, come in your cutest Valentine costume for a chance to win unlimited play pass for 6 months!

I Love My Family! ParenTIN.tv Love Month Event

Yesterday, I attended my first ever ParenTin.tv event. Thanks to hubby who came with us, we did not have to take the cab. It was also a blessing in disguise that he came along because the topic ParenTin.tv touched on involved the husband and the wife. I am really glad we attended because I learned a lot. There were several talks where married life, blood banking, and skin care were discussed to name a few. There were some booths also like Galileo, Baby Company and FunShots Photobooth.

Aside from my takeaways from the talks, I was also able to meet some mommy bloggers. Some of them I have already met before and the others are new faces to me. I forgot to bring Erin with me so I just grabbed the photo below from Mommy Pehpot.

I am super thankful for my new-found-friends and I cannot wait for our grand meet-up. I plan to post the details of each talk during the event on separate posts so watch out for that.

In the meantime, I will go back to our chika session in Pinay Mommy Blogger’s Facebook account and of course, this QA testing that I have to finish soon.

Maxyn turns 8 months today

Maxyn turns 8-month-old today. Just a few more months and we’ll have a toddler again in the house! I must start planning her first birthday celebration soon. But before I go into that, let me tell you about Maxyn’s milestones.

She eats solids once to twice a day. She has tried banana, broccoli, ampalaya leaves, french fries, potato, sweet potato, Cerelac Mixed Fruits, Cerelac Rice and Soya, spaghetti, carrots and mango to name a few. Her favorite is banana.
She now has 4 white sharp teeth, 2 in both upper and lower gums.
She can stay in sitting position while playing.
She plays with real toys.
She can make sounds using different objects.
She can go to her tummy from sitting position.
She can lift her upper body while on her sides.
She tries to stand on her own.
She shows interests in technical stuff like the laptop.
She can now say dede when she wants milk.

For her celebration, we will have spaghetti and some ice cream. I can’t just wait to go home! I better finish these reports and test cases now.
