I bought a 35L electric convection oven. Hubby and I loves to experiment in the kitchen and I am sure, we make more bonding moments with this new toy.
Our problem now is space. I still do not know where we will put it. I think a need a rack. No, not that kind of ski racks. More of a cabinet type. If only we can build a hanging cabinet for it and the microwave oven.
I just finished talking to my father over the phone. He called just to tell me he was able to avail free facial treatment from the health cards my sister gave him.
The companies where my sisters work has this health benefit that entitles all regular employees to have two dependents. The dependents enjoy almost the same privileges as the primary card holder.
He went to the clinic, primarily to have something else checked. He saw that the dermatologist is available to he also took the time. He ended up getting free cautery service for his face and neck. He is now warts-free and he is totally happy about it! Now that is knowing what your health card benefits are.
Last year, I gifted myself with a Western Digital 500GB external hard drive. It is what I use now to store our photos. And by store, I mean in their rawest form – many are not yet organized properly.
I am a clicker-happy person and I do not delete shots, blurred, over-exposed, simply duplicate until I organize the pictures. And since I have been stalling on that organize-the-pictures project for so long now, I have not exhausted that 500GB.
And since I do not work outside our home anymore, I do not have a need to bring the HD with me all the time. I kept it in our desk and I only get it when I am transferring new photos.
Then there is this discussion in my community about where the moms store their pictures. I would not say I am 100% confident that my HD will never conk out on me. But not transporting it gives me a feeling that it has less chances of happening, thus, I do not store the photos anywhere else. I know, I know. I cannot be too sure. Which returns me to the title of this post.
Where can I back-up our pictures with the maximum benefits but minimum cost? Should I burn them in DVDs? Should I buy another HD? Share with me your thoughts.
