Smooth And Memorable Wedding

A very very close friend of mine just got married the other day. I’ve known this couple since high school so it’s been really wonderful to finally watch them tie the knot together and embark on their future life together. Her wedding was held in one of the gardens and parks nearby and it’s always been her dream wedding to have things done on a small, minimalist scale with only close friends and relatives. Being a vegan and a very environmental conscious couple, they chose to set the theme of their wedding based on recycled products. All their invitation cards and guestbooks were made from products made out of recycled paper. Guests were given wonderful wedding gifts in eco-friendly recycled bags. I was so proud of her for standing so firmly by her principles.

The wedding was not planned on too grand scales. They just wanted something cozy and intimate. So here’s a hearty congratulations to the happy couple and may they make many happy memories together for the rest of their lives.

Where They Got Those?

Maxyn was playing with the Ferrari car my dad got Alex when Shell was still running a promo for it. The car is a track-back type (if that is how it is called). Max just loves to see it run from one spot to the other. Actually, she likes chasing it more.

Not that I am encouraging Max to play with cars, which is generally toys for boys but I was reminded of the revell models I saw along with model houses we checked out at the mall a few weeks back. The model cars were really gorgeous, they were more of an eye candy than the houses! I bet those are collectors items. I would love to know where do they get those. It wouldn’t hurt if I get my girls a piece or two, right?

Custom-made or rent

There is a huge change in our Christmas plan. It is huge that it kind of rattles me but I really think it is doable.

We will be celebrating Christmas Eve in my dad’s province so we can attend my cousin’s wedding on the same day. Ayex is one of the flower girls and we are the ones to provide the dress. Their motif is army-green, very rare, in my opinion.

I am hesitant to opt for a custom-made flower girl dress because I am sure, the design Ayex will choose is something that she will never be able to wear again. It will just end in our pile of costumes after the event. Plus the wedding will happen in a week! It will surely be treated as rush order which means higher price tag!

Now with rental, my problem is that the motif is hard to find and I cannot find a rental place near me! I am helperless now which means I have to bring along Maxyn if we are to look for a gown rental.

I pray that everything will fall in its proper place soon.
