Hello New Clothes

I was fixing the girls’ clothes and I noticed that many of Maxyn’s have become small. Well, actually, Maxyn got bigger already. Alex, uhm, her clothes now fit Maxyn very well.

So I asked the hubby to bring down the storage box above our cabinet that contains clothes. These clothes are a mix of new and old stuff that were either too big or too small to use. And voila, the girls have new clothes already!

And oh, I found some of my maternity dresses in there too. I took out some that I do not want to use again so they can be donated to those in need.

Avon Ultra Color Rich 24K Gold Lipstick – Ruby In Gold

Early this month, I felt like buying myself a lipstick. I wanted a red shade. So when MIL’s manicurist came by, I asked if she still sells Avon products. Anne Curtis endorses Avon here in our country so I said, it must be a good product and is worth trying.

I ordered a piece of Ultra Color Rich 24K Gold lipstick; Ruby in Gold is the shade.

When I got the lipstick, it came in black packaging that when unwrapped, reveals a gold tubing. I like it very much. The lipstick itself has gold particles in it.

I have been using it almost everyday, when I fetch Alex from school. It is really easy to apply. At first, I did not get the redness that I wanted. My sister told me to apply more coating until I get my desired color. One thing that I noticed though, it does not last that long. I do not know if that is what moisture lipsticks do or that my lips are very dry, it absorbs the lipstick really fast. What can you say?

I think I will buy another lipstick soon. Oh, is this going to be a collection?

Longchamp Fad

You see people side by side each other carrying the same brand of bag – Longchamp – but in different colors and designs. My sister owns one in tangerine. She bought it from a groupon site and was her Christmas gift to herself last year. It was supposed to be teal but the groupon site made a mistake. Returning the item was such a hassle so she stick with the color she got.

Anyway. So I see lots of people carrying this type of bag. And honestly, I do not see the difference between the original ones and those inspired by the originals. The original one costs about $150-200 while the latter may be bought at less than $20. My sister bought her at 50% discount from the groupon site and up until now, I wonder how could that be possible. Either this bag is really over-priced in the market or the groupon site sold the inspired-version not the original.

I simply want to say that I do not get why people got so into this tote. I heard some collected all the colors available. Why? Even if I have the money, I do not like this bag because it lacks form for me. Everything just goes to the bottom. And its material, it is simply nylon, what is so special with that? Plus you see it almost everywhere!
