Confessions of a Voucher Addict

discount logo I cannot remember how it started, who introduced them to me nor how I learned about them. All I can remember is that everyday, before I start my routine at work, I check my personal emails. Before, I only check to see if I have any important emails. But when I got acquainted with these sites, I found myself opening each subscription email that contains net voucher codes to see if there is anything that I really want to avail or if there is anything that I think my siblings will fancy. Yes, I dragged other people to my brewing addiction.

I got addicted to coupons and vouchers. It seemed that everything I see on the emails is something that I need and I have to buy it pronto so I can avail of the discount. My mind got so engrossed with the word discount, specially to the things I would not buy if I have to pay for the whole price. But that mindset almost got me bankrupt. I kept on buying deals, thinking of the savings I will get. I forgot that I will still have to pay for the price of the deal and it is not free. There were months when I will buy about three vouchers and all my supposedly savings will just to the credit card bill. I have no debt but I have no savings either because I bought so many vouchers.

I am happy though that with the use of vouchers, I was able to do and buy things at the price I am willing to spend on them. We stayed in hotels, went out-of-town, dined at posh places, bought expensive things, and even beautify ourselves. There is one thing that I have been checking for a while now, but I only see it at coupon codes, USA. I will not reveal it to you, guess if you like.

My voucher addiction is far from over but this time around, I have learned to prioritize. When there is no budget, I must work harder so I can avail of that coupon.

Foreign Coins

I have a few foreign coins from my sister. I asked her some coins from the country where she is currently working to help prevent my wallet from being empty. Do you know that saying that you should never ever empty your wallet of money completely? There should always be a coin or two in it as money attracts money. And somehow, some play-money coins managed to get into my purse too. LOL

Since I have foreign coins in my wallet, does that mean it will be filled with foreign currencies in the future? Yay!
