Little Girls Should Wear Dresses

That is certainly what I believe in and is trying to practice with our girls. Actually, I think, girls, no matter what their age is should wear dresses more often. But due to many constraints, we do not. Like us, moms, we will surely have a hard time running after our kiddos at the park if we keep on minding our dress that is being blown away by the wind. But when circumstances permit, wear a dress! I do, and I feel really pretty when I am wearing a dress.

And so, I recently bought my girls custom-made dresses from a friend. I chose a design from Jazzshoppe’s collections, took my girls’ measurements, sent them to Glenda, and after two days, I got the dresses! I am actually thinking of ordering these dresses for Maxyn, Alex and me so that the three of us will be wearing matching dresses. Maybe when I have extra funds. 😀

We Love Infinitea!

Before I learned about the milk tea craze happening left and right in the Metro, the husband introduced us to Infinitea. It is a small tea house located along Maginhawa, Teacher’s Village Quezon City. We pass by here whenever we are Las Pinas bound, as for hubby, he passes by the area every day on his way to work.

Unfortunately, things did not turn out very well for this branch of Infinitea. I am just guessing, ok. They are now closed. The brighter side is that, there is a branch in Festival Mall, Alabang and in Dahlia, Fairview! Well, these places are far as they may sound but they are accessible to us from time to time. 😀

A few weeks ago, we passed by the Fairview branch and I finally tasted the Blueberry Cheesecake Frappe that the hubby was raving for. As for me, I opted for the never-failing Wintermelon Kiss. I love their milk teas and other creations because even if I lessen the sugar, they still taste great!

And look who else enjoyed our milk teas…

I cannot wait for our next visit!

Kissa Papaya Whitening Soap

kissa papaya whitening soap Back in the days when only a few brands of whitening soap exist, I swear by Kissa Papaya Whitening Soap. It was endorsed by Kris Aquino then. I started using it from the time it was available in the market and for how long I used it, I cannot remember anymore.

You see, my complexion is one of my strongest insecurities. All my siblings have fair complexion, except me. That is the reason why I tried using whitening soaps, such as Kissa.

And it works for me! The results were not visible overnight but it works. The old picture below is taken eons ago and no editing was made to it except cropping. That is how dark my skin color before.

For the record, I do not want to have snowy white skin, I just want to have a lighter skin color. That is why I cannot help but give a huge smile whenever someone new comments on my skin color, like when I was first introduced to hubby’s grandmother. Ang puti ko daw! Di lang nila alam, fake! LOL. That is also the reason why I do not like staying much in under the sun. Kapag naarawan ako, as in bilad, nalabas ang aking tunay na skin color. Not that I am ashamed of it, I just want a lighter skin color. And I believe it was Kissa that helped me achieve my current skin color. Thanks, Kissa! Too bad, I cannot find it anymore anywhere.
