5 Jobs for the One Who Loves Kids

Are you a perpetual Peter Pan? Do you still love fingerpaints just as much as your six-year-old self? Whether you are a kid at heart or just a big believer in the boundless joy of the younger generation, here are five jobs where you can channel your love of children into something worthwhile.

1: Teacher

The most obvious career for people who like kids, teachers are nonetheless one of the most vital parts of the economy. You’ll be laying the groundwork for all the future Einsteins and Gagas!

2: Social Worker

If you really want to make a difference in children’s lives, consider going to school and receiving certification as a social worker. The kids in the system deserve just as much love as kids from stable families.

3: Children’s Book Illustrator

Bring storybooks to life by becoming an illustrator who specializes in children’s books. You don’t even need professional experience to find work; just get in contact with agents and publishing houses and see if they’re currently accepting portfolios.

4: Children’s Voice Actor

While celebrities get all the big-name jobs, there’s always a need for someone to play secondary characters and background animals. Your passion, joy and enthusiasm will reach through the screen and help kids everywhere discover new worlds and learn important lessons.

5: Camp Director

If you don’t mind getting a little dirty, camp directors are surrounded by kids 24/7, playing in the same mud and running the same obstacle courses. It’s the perfect career for those who never quite grew up themselves!

Whiten Those School Socks

I have a thing with white school socks.

For some reasons, Alex’s school white socks are not of the same length anymore even if I remember buying exactly the same pairs. It could be the pulling as she puts them on or could be due to the frequent washing. Other than that, overtime, the socks have lost their bright white color.

For the first issue, I tried my best to pair the socks that have the closest length and over-all look with each other. Then I sewed tiny marks on the insole. For the second, I have tried many tricks and home-made solutions already but to no avail.

And then I discovered Perwoll Brilliant White liquid detergent. The packaging says it can turn grayish white clothes to white again through optical brighteners that re-new white colors. It also uses fiber rebonding technology that prevents colors from fading and remove the grey appearing fabrics. I wanted to see for myself the promises of this product so I tried it with Alex’s socks.

Also, they announce in their Facebook Page if you can already submit your child’s photo, so be sure to like their page. Be ready with the following too:
