Thank You, Gardenia Philippines!

Ok. I admit. I am sort of a Facebook addict. Most of the time, it affects my productivity. But during lucky days, being on Facebook brings me free goodies. But unlike others, I choose very well the giveaways and raffles that I join. I am not so fond of flooding the wall of my contacts with a bunch of giveaway related stuff like photos and status messages. And thankfully, even if I do not do that, I still get lucky.

I have won several things already over the past months, thanks to these companies’ Facebook promo. The most recent that I won, via raffle, are the new healthy breads from Gardenia Philippines. I love Dates and Walnuts!!! And so does Maxyn! 😀

I really hope they bring in that Banana loaf too, which my sister in Singapore has been raving about.

Blast From the Past

Just when I said I will start Facebook-ing less, my classmates back in my elementary (primary) days created this groups and they have been hyper since yesterday! Want to know how hyper? One thread only has 547 comments! And it seems to me that it will be added some more because there were people mentioned who have not posted a single reply, and they were being talked about. We have a virtual riot!

Today, someone posted some class pictures already. I, myself, have some in my mom’s home. When I go there, I will make sure to bring that album with me. Then I will have another piled task. LOL. Hopefully not. I will probably just scan or take a picture of the juicy ones. 😀

I am really hoping that next week, I will be able to update all my blog sites. For now, I will join them again and reminisce those fun, childhood years.

I Am Still Alive

and kicking!

Wow, that is two weeks without updates?! What have I been doing?

Sleep. Facebook. Sleep.

When I put the girls to bed, I pretend to be sleeping. That way, they sleep all the way and stop telling stories. But then, I find myself waking up when the husband is almost home, which means I should not be on the laptop anymore. So I go back to la-la land.

In some cases, Facebook gets in the way. Being socially active keeps you updated of everything, even if you do not watch the daily news. But it can also mess up ones productivity. And so, I have a few friends who now shut their social life and just peak into their account for a breather but never responds to threads. Me, I am still finding what I want to do. LOL.

Aside from that, I have been really away from the laptop during the two consecutive long weekends. I have been spending quality time with family, and yeah, I am tired, and that makes me sleep more! 😀

Anyway, I did some editing in photoshop this evening because the husband gets so irritated with my dark ovals when I ask him to take a photo of me. I have been doing self-portraits recently because I am always the one behind the camera. Time to update my Facebook profile picture!
