Live on Stage: Hi-5 House Party!

My youngest daughter has started to give interest to television. She is 3.5 years-old. Before, she does her thing despite the television on with her Ate Alex, our eldest, watching. Recently, I noticed that when Alex watch musical shows, Max stops playing on her own and looks at the television too. She particularly watches Hi-5.

Once, and I can remember it well, Max and hubby had this conversation while the Hi-5 credits is flashing after the show.

Max: Gusto ko diyan! (pointing to the television)
Daddy: Gusto mo diyan?
Max: Yes! Gusto ko punta diyan!
Mommy: Eh galing na sila dito last time eh.
Daddy: Anak, pwede ko sila papuntahin dito, pero hindi na tayo kakain.

The things we do and think for our children.

Lo and behold, I was on Facebook and I saw this poster a while ago! I was ecstatic! I want to bring Maxyn to the show! (But why is it that the cast is different?) Still, I want Max to experience it! Oh, I pray, pray, pray that a budget can be allotted for this.

Hi-5 will perform live on stage at SM AURA Samsung Hall on December 13-15, 2013. Shows will be at 1PM, 4PM, and 7PM. Ticket prices: VIP – 2120, Patron – 1590, Balcony – 1060, Limited VIP with Meet & Greet – 2650.

Discover Cool Toys For Your Kids at Orange Onions

I have long back heard about Orange Onions a site where you can find good deals on home and garden products, dining and kitchen products, toys and baby products. But I had completely forgotten about it. This time when I was checking websites to do some Christmas shopping I happened to check this website. I was thrilled to find the best discounted prices on branded products and to top it all they even promised free shipping.

I want to buy toys for my kids this Christmas so I checked that category right away. If I have a son, I would get some board games like Hasbro The Game Of Life Zapped Edition, Skateboard Madness Board game and Mind Twist Game by Imagination Entertainment. I would probably also get the Jungle Friends 200 pieces learn and discover puzzle set. And when he is older, he will probably keep still while working on the 500 piece puzzle set by Michael Herring. Maybe in due time, when we get to have a boy in our home.

I got so engrossed with the boys’ toys. After indulging my eyes, I checked the Porcelain and collectible Dolls section for my daughters. My top picks are the Heritage House Ribbons and Bows Musical Porcelain Doll Jessica. The doll is really cute and it is difficult to resist the temptation of not buying it. Next thing I knew, I am looking at Play My Way stickers, stencils and stampers by Fisher Price and Necklace Group Pack. Oh, I have not mentioned that I also saw Painting by number 3D frames and Gallery glass parrot suncatcher and cling kit.

This Christmas I just want the kids to be happy and have whatever they wish to. All around the year they have been real good and helped me manage my job and home well. I checked for special offers on Frugaa.com and found coupon codes to save money. I managed to save few dollars and thus decided to add Cool Visions Sunglasses for my husband. This will be a small surprise this Christmas for him.

Tips in Buying Maternity Wear

During pregnancy, your stomach will expand past its usual size. When this happens, you will need to purchase maternity clothes. While some women may not need maternity clothes until they are several months along, others are not so lucky. No matter how far along you are, consider the following tips to get more bang for your buck.

To shop for maternity clothes, consider your pre-pregnancy size. Purchase maternity clothes that are about the same size. Remember, maternity clothing will only give you extra space were needed. In most cases, this is in the stomach as well as the bust area. However, if you are having twins, consider going up a size or two. Next, look for clothing that is made from stretchable fabric. Spandex and cotton jersey are good fabrics to look at. Buy separates that are easy to mix and match. Not only will this save you money, but you can match the items to make several different outfits. When shopping for bras, only purchase one at a time. During pregnancy, your bra size will go up several times. Avoid buying nursing bras until the last month of your pregnancy. Whenever purchasing maternity clothes is not an option, you can always wear plus-size clothing.
