I was really hoping to blog about this as soon as we get home yesterday but I was dead-tired and my arms a hurting because of carrying my little Maxyn.
Sunday was really a good day, generally speaking. We were able to hear the mass in the morning in the chapel near us. I missed going to church and I miss the people in that chapel too! After mass, we ate lunch at home. Maxyn fell asleep and we waited for her to wake up. Hubby tinkered something with the sewing machine, something he’s been working on since Saturday night. I took the time to fix the girls’ stuff. Maybe Maxyn has some kind of ESP because when we were all finished, she woke up. π
Travel time to Megamall was fast but there was no parking area! I was so worried that Mon will give up and just head home. We parked in Shangri-La and just walked our way to Megamall. There, Mon and the girls searched for Ayex’s costumes for the ballet grand recital on April 16 while I went to DAD’s for the PMC Grand Eyeball.
When I arrived at DAD’s, I do not know where the moms are sitting. I asked the reception if there were reservations. I told them they were inside having lunch and they allowed me to get in. I do not know where to start to I searched the place for someone with a golden hair, Eihdra. I her standing and headed their way. These gorgeous mommies have just finished their lunch and were busy exchanging tokens and chit chats. Then I saw Peh who greeted me with Sino po kayo? May invitation po ba kayo?. Then I started receiving token from one mom to another. I got pressured and offered them a paper bag full of coin purse. It was the first time I got to meet most of them so I relied on our make-shift name tags for their names.
It was quite noisy inside so we decided to move outside. We have a very long table and it was kind of difficult to have a single conversation. So we ended up having small talks. Next time we should really have some sort of a function room. Hehehe. We had merienda, more talks and more pictures.
Being surrounded by people who can relate to you is really something that lifts me and even inspires me. A feeling of belongingness is something I have found in this group and I am grateful for it. I feel blessed to have met and known such kind, supportive, happy and warm people like them. As early as now, I am already looking forward to the next meet up and I am now thinking what token to give.
Thank you Mommies for all these tokens, I love them all! ‘Till next time!
Wow, COngratulations ninyong lahat na nagkaka-kita na sa wakas. π
Wow! I will definitely look forward to the PMC meet-up here in Mindanao too. You all really enjoyed a lot at the Grand EB!
