Artista Luxury

We are finally home after spending a couple of nights at the hospital. Maxyn is slowly regaining her usual active self and I am chasing her around the house again. Thankfully, Ayex is on semestral break now and there is no need to rush a thing. We are just bumming around, enjoying each others company. I love slow days like this.

I still have a hang-over on the lifestyle tv-marathon that I did while at the hospital. Good thing Ayex is busy with something else that I am able to own the telly to myself. But somehow, I wished she just watched cartoons!

I am watching a feature about showbiz personalities and I want to die in envy! How can they own a handful of luxury bags, multiple mansions, travel and still pay for their rv insurance?! Why can’t we all make that much moolah?!

Oh well. At least when I have personal issues, I get to keep it to myself, unlike them, the whole world has a say on their life. That is probably the price they pay for their material luxuries.

Strike 2

And I am blogging from Capitol Medical Center again.

I had a simple birthday celebration. I had a relaxing afternoon at The Spa Trinoma, while the girls played in the play area. We used my Gelatissimo GC that I won from a contest. Then hubby bought me a whole New York Cheesecake from Jack’s Loft. We feasted on that and the spaghetti that I cooked for dinner.

Maxyn was not able to sleep that night. She would throw up in between sleep and I can hear her tummy rumble. Come Sunday morning, she was not her usual active self. By Sunday night, she pooped three consecutive times. That is when we decided to go to the ER.

I requested for a CT-Scan and X-ray. The doctors in the ER said they will do it but also strongly advice that we admit Maxyn for observation. That is their standard procedure 24H after a fall. Maxyn fell from her stroller while I was at the spa. And we were worried that everything is due to that.

All laboratory results were negative, including the stool exam, thank, God! Our pedia saw us already and said that the vomiting and pooping are not related to the fall, instead, it could be diarrhea. Hopefully by tomorrow, we will be discharged.

I am thankful that we have everything covered by our health card. Despite that, I do not want to be in the hospital very often. My mom said we are fortunate that everything is covered. I told her to check Wholesaleinsurance.net so she can also look for something that will work for her, specially when it comes to health care needs.

Bye for now. My patient is already awake.

Killing Time

Actually not. It is just that I cannot sleep because of all these nurses who keep on coming in almost every hour to check on my patient. Yeah, we are in the hospital again, since last night. I will tell you why in the morning because my mind is not functioning really well now. You know when you want to sleep, your body agrees but not your brain. That is how I am now. Thankfully, our room is equipped with a television with cable. It keeps me company now until my eyes are all weary and tired.

It has been a while since I watched television this long. It is always Ayex who is watching Disney Junior plus we do not have some channels that I love like AFC. I am tired of channel hopping so I am sticking with Travel and Living. Reminds me of things I want to do with hubby and the girls. I really want to go camping with them even if we do not have complete mountain hardwear. My girls will surely love star gazing at night with matching bon fire!

But first, we need to be discharged by our pedia and get some good-uninterrupted sleep!

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
