Yuletide Plans

There are so many places I want to visit these days, if only the traffic is not so bad. Commuting will surely be a feat with two kids in tow so I am not trying that. I wish we get to check these out while there is no school for Ayex.

  • Snow Village in Manila Ocean Park

We have been to the Oceanarium before and the other facilities. I really want Ayex and Maxyn to see a real penguin and of course, me too.

  • Nido Science Discover Center

I read it is amazing inside and I am pretty sure, my girls’ will in there. Maybe Ayex will say she wanted to be a scientist after the visit. :p

  • Luneta Park

The malls will surely be jam-packed after Christmas because everyone has money to spend plus there is the MMFF. So for a change, and since we have not been there as a family, I think a picnic at Luneta will make for a great afternoon activity.

Parties Ahead

They say Philippines has the longest Christmas celebration. With Christmas carols airing on radio stations as early as end of September, I cannot blame others if they say we have a long Christmas celebration.

And now that Christmas is really nearing, invitation to parties and celebrations are left and right. My husband has already warned me to pick my events. He is right and I am just pretending to be super mom. Of course I wanted to go to every invite I get. In fact I have been looking for boy’s clothing sale because we have been invited to a birthday party this coming second week of December. I wish there is The White Company here, their collection will fit the celebrant perfectly! But today, I found out that that party is the same time as the Christmas Party of Ayex in her ballet school! It is sad but I have to choose. Actually, I asked Ayex to choose. And of course, she wanted to be with the other ballerinas. If only we can be in the two events.

But as hubby always reminds me, the children’s body is far from an adult’s. They may not say they are tired but they are. And I do not want them to be sick when everyone else is enjoying the merriment of the season. So I will take hubby’s advice and choose the events carefully. But of course, there can be some exceptions when possible. *wink*

Project 1 – Closet Transfer

I have been stalling on my projects because of my on and off abdominal cramps. I have been feeling this since Monday because my period is due to come but it has not arrived. How I wish it comes now so I can get over this terrible week. I hate being so cranky and irritable. In fact, just to distance myself from the girls and avoid nagging them, I pushed myself to finish my long-delayed project, the closet move.

You see, we lack cabinet space. I really want to get new ones to separate the sheet sets my sister-in-law gave us during her vacation last summer from my clothes. The sheets are all lovely and new and it makes me sad that I cannot keep them properly because of the lack of space. The look very similar to those you can find at Deals Direct. I am actually starting to worry because there are times when I see insects lurking in our apartment’s poor old cabinets!

I was successful to move some of my clothes from the ugly cabinet to our very own sturdy and secured cabinet after two hours of fixing. I still have clothes and other stuff in the old cabinet plus the sheets. I am not sure if the hubby already noticed. Ah, I wish our landlady would finally listen to our complains.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
