The Record Breaker Experience

As I have posted before, we bought 4 Patron tickets to Sarah Geronimo’s Record Breaker concert. I’m so glad I did, all the stress (I will explain later) and the waiting was all worth it.

Why stress? Saturday was a pretty busy day in our household. My mom was already there when I arrived Friday night. Saturday morning, we brought Ayex to the pedia for her following up check-up (she had been coughing for two weeks now – allergy). In the afternoon, just after we had lunch, we went to the grocery. Pretty busy, huh?

Our original plan was to leave our place in QC at 5PM because we’ll take care of some business related errand in Cubao. My mom also said that it’s our chance to have our rare bonding time – girls night-out. Unfortunately, I had to put Ayex to sleep because she’s been awake the whole day and it was 4:30PM. We were able to left the house at 6PM. The stress should have stopped there because we’ll take the MRT. From our place, the whole travel should be just an hour. But lo and behold, it took us an hour or so in the MRT ride for just 4 stations! It was crazy and super stressing! My sister who will come from the other end station was also super stressed because their train has no air conditioning! Booooo, MRT!

Anyway, we were buzzer beaters. We were inside Araneta a few minutes before 8PM, the printed start of the concert. We were able to grab some food and drinks before we went inside and find our seat. I was pretty impressed with myself because the seats I got really belong to the nice spot. Talk about a clear view of everything. When we were already seated, we all began to relax and wait for the show to start, which happened around 9PM, I think.

Sarah is great and so is everyone else who made the concert possible. She sang a medley which lasted for about eleven minutes and that was not yet her last song. The surprised guests include Christian Bautista, Charlie Green and The Kanto Boys minus JLC. Toni was so kilig seeing Vhong Navarro on stage. It was definitely worth the money and the time.

Now, let me share with you one of the many videos I took. Pardon the text at the top as I used a trial software to merge two videos of the same song. I’m sharing this one because this is my current favorite song.

The Hot Air Balloon Festival we attended early this year is a first for the Hubby, Ayex and me. We really had so much fun despite the blazing sun and the overpriced food. Hahaha! Below are some of our photos.

Happy Blogoversary To Me!

Yay! How fast time flies! I didn’t bother checking until I installed the Blogoversary counter widget. I had no idea that this blog has been online for five years already.

This blog started as a rant space. In its early days, I will only have new posts when I’m upset, sad or mad. Later on, I started sharing more personal stuff through this blog although I know only friends read them even if my blog is publicly listed by Mr. G. I didn’t know anything about monetizing blogs. I don’t have a single idea that people can actually earn from blogging until early last year. This blog witnessed my late teenage years and now my very own family life. Through this blog, I have come to know new people, my online buddies. I didn’t think all of these are possible but they’re all here in front of my eyes.

Thank you to all of you who visits my blog for a thing or another. I hope you find what you’re looking for and that the posts don’t bore you much. Because of you and your feedback, I am determined to make a post each day, even if I’m on my laziest.

And as you see, I changed my header. This is to celebrate my blogoversary and because I felt that the old header is no longer applicable because Ayex is already big.

My header shows the things I like in life most: Family, Friends, Good Food, Shopping and Me-Time.
