New home

It all started when our landlady refused to take our monthly house rental fee end of December last year. Instead, she told my mother-in-law to tell my husband that we should start looking for a new place. She’s such a witch!!!

I thought house-hunting is already stressing. I was wrong. Moving out is far more stressing and tiring!

They (hubby and father-in-law) started transferring our things Friday afternoon after weeks of waiting for the utilities in the new house to be fixed. We continued moving out until Sunday afternoon. We weren’t able to fix everything though on the same day. We all slept after dinner because we’re too tired, including Ayex. We left the whole place at a mess, except our beds. We were able to arrange everything Monday afternoon. Moving out and moving in took us 3 days.

Compared to our old place, our new home, though still rented, is wayyyyyyyyyy bigger. Of course, no home is perfect for someone who is renting (at least IMPOV) because there are things that I appreciate in our old place, which are:

  • own garage
  • stairs (it’s not really me but I think it’s more of Ayex)
  • high water pressure (hubby said this is because of the piping used)

I’ll be posting pictures soon.

Ayex robbed her Papa Nolie

Remember I mentioned here that we went shopping last Sunday because we need to buy Ayex new shoes for her new clothes?

I also mentioned how many pairs of shoes we bought, right? I also said that her Papa Nolie bought her an expensive pair that I never had a chance to own even when I was still a child. Papa Nolie didn’t mind that he might not eat anymore the next few weeks because he’s broke after buying this expensive pair and he’s still jobless. Of course I’m kidding. This just proves that anything for Ayex is possible. Hahahaha! He also bought Ayex some headbands and other hair accessories.

Again, thanks Papa for these wonderful shoes!

Optimism

I’ve gone through too many changes this year, both personal and professional. And now, it makes me wonder now, how I and some people around me were able to endure them all.

I must say, the biggest change this year that I liked the most is Ayex. Let’s not talk about the least anymore. I’d like to believe that the recent changes in my professional life are all for the better. I knew most of my peers are hoping for the same thing. Wish us luck!

I thought the recent corporate changes our team went through will make me ask the question I know I will not be able to answer clearly: Where do I go from here? Really, I’m not sure. Scratch that. I’m sure of what I want after this corporate life. But I’m sure too that aside from that choice is a bit impractical, it is really not possible at this time. I want to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom (SAHM). Yes, you read it right. Again, maybe not now.

With all my previous peers going to Singapore, that just made me think what do I really want to happen with my corporate life. The problem lies there. I’m not really sure what I want. Or maybe, I know what I want to do but I don’t know what job is that. Hahaha!

Oh well. Let’s see what 2008 will bring us then maybe that will help me create better decisions.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions.
