Optimism

I’ve gone through too many changes this year, both personal and professional. And now, it makes me wonder now, how I and some people around me were able to endure them all.

I must say, the biggest change this year that I liked the most is Ayex. Let’s not talk about the least anymore. I’d like to believe that the recent changes in my professional life are all for the better. I knew most of my peers are hoping for the same thing. Wish us luck!

I thought the recent corporate changes our team went through will make me ask the question I know I will not be able to answer clearly: Where do I go from here? Really, I’m not sure. Scratch that. I’m sure of what I want after this corporate life. But I’m sure too that aside from that choice is a bit impractical, it is really not possible at this time. I want to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom (SAHM). Yes, you read it right. Again, maybe not now.

With all my previous peers going to Singapore, that just made me think what do I really want to happen with my corporate life. The problem lies there. I’m not really sure what I want. Or maybe, I know what I want to do but I don’t know what job is that. Hahaha!

Oh well. Let’s see what 2008 will bring us then maybe that will help me create better decisions.

Things that I have been thinking of lately

These are things (in no particular order) that came across my stupid brain and I just had to let them out.

~~~~~
If there is something that I totally miss regarding our team before, that would be the team spirit. no, don’t get me wrong. we still work as a team right now but, i don’t know if it’s just me or what, but i don’t feel it that much in our current setup.
There’s an improvement lately. We started eating inside the conference room again and not in our cubes. Maybe this is the start.
~~~~~

Maybe Jerome is right. Maybe I was too dependent. And yeah, Lo-ve and Sel are right too. Maxado akong mabait. And yeah, I might push on renting our own place if we can’t really buy our own soon for my own peace of mind. Not that I don’t like having my in-laws around (they own the house remember) but maybe it’s time for us to start living on our own.

~~~~~
It’s almost November. Exactly 74 days before Ayex celebrates her first birthday. Not that I’m too excited but I believe I should start listing my options as early as now. I don’t want to have a disaster on my baby’s big day!
~~~~~

I, Sel and Shindie used to call ourselves Charmed Ones. But then Shindie thought that we should change it because we’re all married now. She said, should we call ourselves Desparate Housewives? I said, we can use that since I’m desperate to become a SAHM. Sel corrected us and said, maybe we should use Desperate maging Housewife instead. ROLF

Goodbye to my nokia 6230

I’ve been so envious of my sisters who were able to change their mobile phone units faster than me. So finally, I decided that I’ll sell my 37-month old Nokia 6230. Yeah, you read it right. I was one of those people who got hold of this smart phone phone first! Hahaha!

I don’t really have any complaints with my unit. It’s just that I realized how old it is already and the camwhore in me is dying to get a new phone with a better camera. So why didn’t I just buy myself a digicam? Simple, I don’t have the moolah!

So going back, I loved my Nokia 6230. I found it very smart and useful. It will never last for three years in my hands if I’m not happy with it, right? So when I was 110% sure that I’m going to sell it, I posted it in ebay.ph. Luckily, somebody wanted to be my phone’s new master. I sold it at PHP 3,800.00. The unit with original casing, 64 MB memory card, original battery, box, manual, product cd, and 3 other casing. I realized that it was all original, never been opened or anything. Except that I lost the charger when it was only 1-month old.

When it was finally sold, I wanted to go senti about it. I said I’m going to write a blog with its picture. However, my hubby already shipped it when I was asking him to take a picture of it. Anyways, here’s some of the amazing details I got from my Nokia 6230. Thanks to Efren Lamoglia for sending these to me.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
