Lucky Day!

I considered this day as a lucky one even if I’m just half-way through. Why?

We finally have ULY back! Weepee! So hubby and I decided to bring Ayex to school and wait for her one-hour class to finish and bring her home before going to the office. We realized afterwards that it is a bad move. No, that’s not the main story.
So we brought Ayex to school and we decided to wait for an hour. Not that hubby and I don’t have so much to talk about but I just felt like I have to do something else. Then I remembered how my eyebrows are growing long! So I took my tweezers and as I opened the pocket of my bag organizer where I placed the mirror, I found this!

I have an instant PhP700!

I first thought that the money belong to our diaper business. But before I type this entry, I made sure I have recorded in my log book all the sales we have made in the past and I cannot find the discrepancy. So there, I have an instant money! What’s next? Let me think of something to buy. Hahaha! Any suggestions?
We had a free lunch care of our teammate, Miguel. Advance happy birthday! I had a very hearty lunch! Enjoy your birthday leave!

I’ve been thinking during my commute this morning to the office, I can never live a, for the lack of better term, luxurious life. Not because I cannot, like I don’t have the means. Hey, I work as a corporate slave right? LOL! The thing is, after I give into my whims, which I only did, major one, this year, I get a lot of guilty feelings.

It probably has something to do with being the eldest in the family. Do you think so? I probably got used to thinking about the might-be future expenses. That’s so me! And you know, sometimes, that value causes me heartaches! I most of the time, if not always, think A LOT before spending money, small amount or not. This is because I cannot say when we’ll need extra so that all of us can go to school and back home. Yep, that’s the life I lived.

After buying the his and hers watch for our anniversary, we had a couple of expenditures that we cannot disregard as they involve ULY, our car. Last night, I learned there is another upcoming expenditure. I know we don’t always give in to our whims, specially me. I’ve always thought I’m spending wisely. But why do I feel guilty after?

Things to be thankful for

The past few weeks have been uber stressful for me and my team at work. But God loves us so much that he still makes each day end with a smile on our face. At least that what happened to me yesterday.

I’ve been losing my interest at my job for quite sometime already. But as a person with goals and priorities, I cannot quite my job just like that even though my morale is getting low every passing day. But as I said, God still gives me things to be thankful for.

Yesterday, I have a meeting that is suppose to start at 9AM. It was finalized at 3AM in the morning. I had plans of bringing Ayex to school because I felt guilty the other day when I told her that I’ll follow her at school but didn’t. After bringing her to the classroom, because she refused to be ushered to the gate only, I sneaked out of the room once the teacher took her from me. I wasn’t able to say bye to her as I really need to go to the office already to make it to the 9AM meeting.
I took a jeepney but went down somewhere else, not the usual place where I would get another ride. I thought it might be easier for me to get a cab in this area. I cannot wait that long, I will be late. A jeepney passed by and I asked if I can hitch up to the next street. The manong driver allowed me and asked me where I’m heading. I told him that I need to get a cab. On the street where I should go down, he told me to better get off to the main street where more cabs pass by. A couple of blocks away, he found a cab and hailed it for me. There are still good Samaritans now a days. Thanks to him, I was able to make it to my 9AM commitment.
See my new layout? I am really hesitant to use a new template so I have been working on my template since Tuesday. I’m glad that I was able to achieve my desired result although looking at it now using our laptop, I think something still needs to be worked on. Still, when I view it using a 1024 x 768 resolution, everything is perfect!
