Going Two and Counting

It has been almost two months since I last left home for work. The are things that I miss, such as: airconditioned workplace all day, being able to drink juice without having the need to make it yourself, a choice between water, soda, juice or coffee, enough time to do what needs to be done in the bathroom, lunch-outs, and of course, just hanging out with friends.

There are also things I rather not remember like commuting to and from work when it is raining hard, , hard days at work (like when reports are due) and leaving crying girls in the morning.

I know I will continue to miss certain things I have when I was still working, like Christmas and 14-month bonus but I do not regret my decision of becoming a work-at-home-mom. To me, it is more important that I start raising my kids myself than the material things. But of course, if I can have both, I would be really really grateful!

Free Birthday for Kids

Two nights ago, as I was browsing Facebook, I stumbled upon this post from a friend and I thought this is such a worthy cause.

Smokers

Back in college, I learned how to smoke cigars. Thankfully that I always have just enough money, I never bought a single piece from my own pocket. The sticks I consumed were always given to me. Since the day I learned how to use a cigar, I never drank cerveza without it. There was even a time when my older brother caught me smoking a stick and he hit me really hard on my arms in front of our cousins. Maybe he was frustrated that I also learned just like him. Hahaha!

After some time though, I decided to quit. It was easy for me maybe because I just started. Maybe if I was using discount acid cigars then, I would find it hard because these are not your ordinary cigars.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
