Learning the Hard Way

Recently, I had so many boo boos due to my carelessness. There were petty fights that resulted to it and now, I hassled people. It does not feel good, I am telling you. Maybe this is a subtle way of telling me that I should start reading again to practice my comprehension skills.

~~~
If there is one thing I would like to inherit from my father, that would be his ability to SAY NO without feeling guilty afterwards. He is so good with it. At least that is how he appears to me.
I really find it hard to decline at something without feeling bad afterwards. If I do not feel guilty, I feel really sad. The only time I feel ok after declining something is when I turn down those who kept on offering credit cards and various flyers of houses and whatnots.
I should learn this skill quick because oftentimes, it leads me to doing things I do not really want to do thus making me careless and the cycle goes on and on.
Super Mom
Maxyn woke up a lot earlier than usual from her afternoon nap today. When Tatay came in to prepare himself to pick up Ayex from school, I volunteered to do it. I said I will just bring Maxyn along. So I changed Maxyn’s clothes, prepared myself and took the big stroller. As I was pushing Maxyn, I realized I made a wrong move. Ayex brought her stroller bag to school today, not the Hello Kitty backpack. How will I be able to push the stroller and pull Ayex’s bag at the same time?!
When we got to their school, the class has not yet ended. I saw Almersha’s mom by the swing and chatted with her. We talked about the exams, our kids and their classmates, and even the things we do to keep us sane. Then out of no where, I told her about my dilemma. She told me to put the bag on the canopy of the stroller. What a brilliant idea, eh.
When Ayex came out, she asked for some time to play in the play area with her classmates. When it was time for us to go, I still tried pushing the stroller and pulling Ayex’s bag. It was impossible! So I did what Almersha’s mom suggested and we got home in no time.
Child Stroller
I should have used Super Stroller as the title of this post. Hahaha!
OC Mode
That means obsessive-compulsive. I am in the mood of scouring things and I am surprised to see things I cannot remember I have. I still have not found Neil’s gift to me and he refuses to answer my text messages. But I am sure to find out where to get those cable fixer when I visit them soon.
I just finished fixing and keeping some knickers away from my closet. And I had such a good laugh when I saw one of my girlfriends’ gift to me for our wedding. Good thing Ayex was outside our room. I cannot explain it really well but it looks like some ladies teddies. It makes me wonder what crossed her mind that she decided to give that to me. I have not used it though. Maybe when we finally have our honeymoon. No, after almost five years, we have not had ours.
Bye for now, I am still itching to fix some more bags in the closet.
