Special Treat for My Little Ballerina

Since my little ballerina’s grand recital is over (and all the expenses that came with it too lol), I now have a good reason to start saving up for her next gift. She did really well amidst the very hectic and rigorous practice schedules that I’m thinking of giving her a treat.

I am now on the lookout of cowgirl boots for her since she has been wanting to have one for some time. She must really take after me on this one since mommy also loves shoes.

Happy Mother’s Day!

This year’s Mother’s Day didn’t go well as planned. The kids have been feeling under the weather and we didn’t have the chance to do our usual family moments for the event.

I usually look forward to Mother’s day because it is a day in the year that I also embrace my new role in life. I would have wanted a custom t-shirt for the whole family (as a gift for myself) for the occasion but since that plan didn’t push through, might as well plan another design for Father’s Day. I just love it when we’re all dressed the same on a special occasion.

For other mothers, how did you spend Mother’s day? For husbands and brothers, how did you make your wife or mother feel special on Mother’s Day?

The Heat is On

How are you coping with summer? Listening to the news everyday on what the daily temperature is makes me really think of ways on how to cool down my girls since they can be really active, and the heat makes it worse.

But aside from the heat that we feel at home, this intense weather also signals a lot of fire in certain areas within the metro. Incidents of fire rise dramatically during summer so it’s important to be always mindful of the things used at home. Making sure that no appliance is left unattended at any given time ensures me that accidents (that start fire) don’t happen.

I just hope that our local fire fighters are equipped with the right materials for any untoward incidents like having a DFTCorp.com hydraulic hose specifically for situations such as this. Another thing, since we’ve been having rain the past couple of weeks, I also hope that our water level for the city will be enough for everyone whether they be supplied for fire incidents or for general household and commercial use.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
