I have to admit I am a frustrated singer. Although I can carry a tune, I do not have a voice that can be considered as “professional singer material”. But with some serious vocal coaching, I think I can be one. Naks! I get to practice a lot though because we have a karaoke machine and I sing whenever time permits and as a way to de-stress. I have been using the same microphone for years now and I really want a new one. I hope I can buy a mic with more features, something that can perform much like the best sm57 instrument microphone.
My Love of Music
I am not a good singer. I was once a member of our church’s Children’s choir but I was never convinced I can sing. Despite my lack of ability to play any musical instrument or to sing, I still appreciate most types of music. Listening to CDs or the radio has always been one sure way of feeling better whenever I am sad or stressed. I listen to all kinds of music but sometimes, I cannot take hard core rock and rap music. I hate it when I cannot understand what the singer is saying at all. There are times when I feel like having loud music at home so turn up the volume of our stereo. There are also times when I just like to listen to music by myself using my sony headphones. Both ways are sure to de-stress me. Try it for yourself.
Thank You, Lord!
Thanks to everyone who prayed for my recovery. I am now dengue-free. My platelet and WBC count are back to normal, although I am still drinking hydrite.
Last week was one stressful ride. The sudden death of a relative, then what I thought was a simple flu turned out to be dengue. Thankfully, we were able to attend the funeral despite my burning eyes and fever that won’t go away. And that when we found out it was dengue, it was not a crucial stage.
I am still recharging but hopefully you will see more of me already here.
