Last July 31, we went to S&R Alabang and celebrated my moms birthday there. After eating some delicious new york style pizza, we did their grocery shopping.
Upon check out, I noticed that the cashier are putting our stuff on half-cut cartons. Then I saw a signage that says something similar to Muntinlupa bans the use of plastic bags. I was ecstatic! You see, I am trying to limit our plastic bag usage too that is why I always carry ecobags with me wherever I go. And going to a place that fully support bring your own bag advocacy makes me really happy and giddy.
This is how our groceries look like. I feel like we shopped somewhere abroad like in the foreign TV shows.
Aside from Muntinlupa, I know Lusiana, Laguna also bans plastic bag usage. If these places can do it, I am sure others can follow. I wish Quezon City will be next.
I see 2 gardenia loaves! Sino’ng matakaw sa tinapay??? Hahahaha
I guess stock nila yan for about 1 and a half weeks. Hehehe. Although kami dito sa QC, one week lang ang two loaves specially kung sandwich ang baon ni Yex. 🙂
