A refreshing weekend

This should have been published last Monday. But you know, things come my way unexpectedly, leaving some things behind. So here I am now, creating the delayed but worth it post. Find UK Solicitors

So Ayex had Roseola last week. She’s feeling a lot lot better by Friday. I, on the other hand, still lack my much needed sleep and whole body massage.

Saturday:We were preparing to go to CMC for Ayex’s follow up check up. MIL told us that they’re (MIL and FIL) going to Luciana that same day. Hmmmmmm, I must be making my plans then. Hahahahaha! FIL offered that they drop us to the hospital since ULY is still in the car shop for repainting. We refused the offere because they still need to eat and it’s already 11am. Our pedia’s clinic hours is only at 12nn. So we went to CMC. In the cab, I was already planning in my head what I will do. I will be the one to cook since I haven’t done that for a very long time now. So ok.

We hook up with my mom in CMC. She joined us until we reached home and stayed there for a while. Mon left as soon as we arrived home to visit ULY. THat afternoon, I was determined I’m going to cook the recipe I grabbed from PinoyCook, Creamy Garlic Pasta with Prawns. I texted Mon all the ingredients I will need including some canned mushrooms for our dinner, burger patties in mushroom gravy.

So we had burger patties in mushroom gravy for dinner. It’s not really something special and difficult to do but hey, it’s the thought that counts. Para maiba naman diba?

Sunday:We went to church in the morning. Before we left, I already asked Ate Meriam to cook the pasta and prepare the prawns. Did I told you that Mon bought a kilo instead of just 250g? Find UK Solicitors After the mass, we headed home right away because I’ll be cooking pasta for the first time!

I had to double the measurement of every ingredient because our pasta is 400g. Mon and Ayex were both in the kitchen because Ayex wants to sleep already but she can’t since she’s not nursing. Mon kind of pressured me because he kept saying things about what I’m doing. But I know he trusts me that I’m doing it right.

I know I don’t take very nice photos but at least I was able to document this one.

My mom went to our place again and I told her I’ll do the recipe again when we go to LP. That night, I also cooked sinigang na hipon with my mom’s help. Too bad I wasn’t able to take a picture of it. I think Mon and Ayex enjoyed the food that I cooked. I was hoping that the other enjoyed it too.
