Conti’s

Are you a fan of Conti’s? Do you leave in the East area of Metro Manila (Marikina, Cainta, Pasig, etc)? If your answers are yes, then you will be delighted that Conti’s now has a branch along Katipunan! I saw their logo this morning in front of Bannaple (Eastwood-bound). If you’re Ateneo-bound, it is located after Freska.

I am no fan mainly because I haven’t tried their raved-for pastries. This new branch gives me that chance (although I think their branch in Trinoma is nearer to me). When that time comes, I will make sure to create a review post.

Free Facial From Hortaleza HBC

We buy our shampoo and conditioner from HBC. When we ran out of conditioner a few weeks ago, I kept on going back to their store in Munoz to purchase one but is still out of stock.

Finally, last Thursday, I went back to their store again and it is already on stock. I know that our shampoo will ran out soon too so I bought one as well. To my surprise, the personnel who assisted me offered me a free facial. According to her, for every PhP300 purchase, there is a free facial. I haven’t had facial for a while so I agreed. I love free pampering sessions like this.

So when you want to have a little pampering, go to your nearest Hortaleza HBC store, grab your personal effects worth at least PhP300 to be entitled to a free facial session.

Dutch Mill Yogurt Drink

When Ayex weaned from the breast after her third birthday, we tried giving her formula milk. However, she didn’t like any of these milks and we ended up just wasting money.

One time, we saw Dutch Mill in the grocery and made her try it. She liked it so much that it became a staple in our grocery list. Initially, it only 4 flavors sold here: plain, orange, strawberry and blueberry. Ayex loves both blueberry and strawberry flavors. She can consume about 4-5 pieces of the 125ml in a day.

Last month while getting her usual stock, we noticed this new flavor: mixed fruits. We bought a couple of it and now, it is not only Ayex who is hooked to Dutch Mill but also us! I don’t like the other flavors that much but this mixed fruits appeals to me a lot.

Because of our consumption, this substitute is a lot pricier than if we drink ordinary milk but we don’t mind because of the goodness it brings.

If you haven’t tried this, I strongly suggest you include it in your grocery list in your next visit.
