Ruby Tuesday #2

I am feeling a bit sentimental the past few days and while I was searching my archives for a ruby to post today, I stumbled upon the picture below. All of a sudden, memories came rushing and I felt like I was back in my younger days.

This photo was taken in December 18, 2004. It was my first Christmas Party with Trend Micro and it was one of the bests I had.

This is a year and a half that we have been chosen as scholars. The founders of the company are celebrating the party with us and so HR asked us to do a special number for them. It took us weeks to practice. We had to look for a sewer who is willing to sew our costumes in such a short notice. I’m happy that we were able to pull it off despite our young age. Practice nights are really full of fun.

Oh I miss these people. I haven’t seen most of them, not even chat! I hope one of these days, we’ll get to meet each other again, probably over lunch or dinner.

I ♥ Faces: Excited!

When I checked this week’s theme, I already had this picture in mind. It is a perfect example of an excited and giggly lady.

The photo below was taken on 2008, Ayex’s 1st birthday celebration at McDonald’s. We were playing Bring Me when she won. I just can’t remember what it was she gave to the host for win. But I do remember that she was so eager to win because of the prize – a flash light with replaceable Disney Princess disks. You attach the disks at the top of the flash light where the bulb is. It functions similarly to projectors. It was a nice prize and one of a kind if I may say.

PhotoHunt #4: Sports

This week’s PhotoHunt theme is Sports.

Mountaineering is a sport that I recently love. Actually not. It is the sport I took before I got married. I really enjoyed the mountains and the people I camp with, not to mention the other marvelous things I see like the sunset and sunrise. The sunset and the sunrise up there are really beautiful and different from what we see at the beach.

I had to much memory with the photo below. It was my first and I was clueless. My dad bought me my own tent which I forgot in the car we hired to take us to the site. My fellow mountaineers told me to bring as much water as I can because we’re not sure if we have a water up there. I obeyed and brought with me a 6L of Absolute water. I had water supply enough for all of us for the overnight stay but the problem is it was very heavy load! When we reached the camp site, it started raining even before we put up our tents. Talk about being lucky huh?

On our way up to Mt. Sembrano. Can you see the sweat? I miss that so much!

Too bad I was only able to go up there twice. Hopefully, when my kids are older, we would all be able to go up there and probably spend a weekend away from the Metro and closer to nature.
