Card and Invitation Making

I think I was sleeping when God decided to shower people here on Earth with craftiness. Or maybe I was not born yet.

I used to not bother not being crafty and artistic. I passed my arts classes in school with whatever capabilities I have and I am contented with that.

But having children made me think otherwise. I think that parents like me should have a B to B+ rating in arts and crafts. Sad to say, I think I am a C or even C-! I think this is a necessary skill for us, parents, because through it, we will be able to hone our children’s imagination and their craftiness.

I Need a Massage

My body has been aching for weeks now. My last visit to the spa was when I celebrated my birthday last October. Since then, I haven’t had a formal massage. Whenever I can no longer take the pain on my shoulders, I will get the Efficacent oil and rub some on the achy parts. Some days it will work, some days, no matter how much I put, the warm oil does not soothe my aching body.

I have been meaning to have a massage, a long one. The ones Alex gives me in the morning removes some of the pain but after a while, they are back. I miss lifting a hot tub cover, a refreshing dose of ginger tea, a quiet and serene ambiance and of course, the heavenly 90-minute combination massage. Oh spa, when will we see each other again?

Think Before Throwing Something Into The Soil

I am all for green living. I do everything I can so my children can still see rivers and mountains when they grown up. I have taught my eldest how to segregate our waste and I am proud to say that we are still doing it, despite the fact that many do not do their share. I delight myself in the thought of companies supporting the bring your own bag campaign. And I truly find usage of brown bags classy.

Today, I saw this over at Facebook and I think it is a great piece of information. Let us all be guided properly and reduce the green house effect, thus saving our planet.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
