Putting Maxyn to bed makes me crazy

She sleeps perfectly well during day time. All I have to do is feed her, burp her and cuddle her a little and she’s on her way to dreamland.

Yes I know, babies tend to mix day and night once they’re out of the mom’s womb but does it really have to be this way?

Maxyn wakes up at 12 midnight to feed. After burping her, she would ask to be fed again. Most of the time, she would cry loudly even when she’s feeding already. I don’t know why but I’m sure she’s not being overwhelmed by the milk flow. There would even be times when she’ll let go of the breast and cry after a while. And I thought she’s done feeding already!

From 12 midnight, it’ll take care about 6 or more times of feeding. By 3am, I’m already drowsy and tired but she won’t sleep yet with occasional loud cries. I won’t really mind the crying except that wakes her older sister. And when Ayex wakes up, it makes me doubly stressed as she would also cry when Maxyn cries! Riot, eh? The thing with Ayex, she wants her back to be scratched until she dozes off. But I have only two hands, both are busy calming and putting the little one to sleep. I seriously thought of using my feet but I don’t know how it could do me good. I know it is not Maxyn’s fault, she doesn’t even know what’s happening.

What about hubby? Well he comes home at around 2:30am. By the time he gets home, I’m already 2 1/2 hours awake and most likely tired of putting two girls to sleep. Besides, he’s also tired a day full of work.

Back to Maxyn. Last night she slept at around 4am (12-4am) and by 5:30am, she’s awake again asking for milk! My head is already spinning and I seriously want to sleep! The thought of everyone waking up to her loud cries only makes me more stressed.

How long will this take? Today I’m planning to keep her awake for a good one hour before I put her to sleep. And I had some 4 hours of sleep this afternoon. This day should be a better day for all of us.

How will I spend an extra $100?

This is my entry to Noel and Levy’s Thanksgiving Contest.

I am not rich but I can say we have enough. Given that, I’ve always set my priorities when it comes to financial matters and I make it a point to follow them. What’s sense does it make if I don’t right? So if I win this contest, it will be pure extra and I’d love to spend it in the following ways.

I will give an amount for Baby Bella’s operation. Being a mom, it pains me too when I read about her condition. In fact, I’m sort of being paranoid lately. Initially, I thought only boys are prone to it but now a little girl is suffering from it and needs to be operated. It makes me think what if it happens to our new bundle of joy, Maxyn? I pray that it won’t. And while Baby Bella is in need of our prayers, she also needs our financial support and so I’m giving her part of the $100 if I win.

Also, I will get this blog its own domain. Yes I know, I should have thought of that before. Well, I’m a newbie you know. I will buy this blog its own domain and will probably buy one more for another blog. Yes, I’m thinking of creating another blog. I don’t know yet what it will be about and your suggestions are very welcome.

Lastly, I’ve been thinking of having my hair rebonded even before I got pregnant. Since the pregnancy, my hair didn’t get any treatment other than the Power Massage from Reyes Haircutters. I think it’s high time that I give my hair proper care to bring back some of my lost confidence. I want those good hair days back.

How about you, would you like to win $100? Did you just say yes? Create your entry to the contest now!

I’m like a Mushroom

Hi Everyone!

How are you all? I hope you already emailed Mommy Pehpot and bought a blog review for Baby Bella. I also hope that you all are having a good weekend.

If you have noticed, I haven’t been online in the last two days. Why? Little Ayex is the culprit. Well little Maxyn too.

Let me start with Maxyn. She is on a night shift which makes me awake from 12-6am. That means when she sleeps, that’s the only time I sleep as well. I haven’t fully recuperated, my arms easily get tired when I carry her and put her to sleep so I’m taking all the sleep I can during day time.

I know what you’re thinking. Don’t I get tired of sleeping all day? Of course I get tired of that too. It makes me worry about my blog site and reminds me that I haven’t gotten any ROI from adgitize, well except for the traffic. There comes in the problem with little Ayex. When I’m tired of sleeping and wants to go online and regain my social life, she’ll bug me until she finally has the laptop to herself. Yes, she’s one techie 3-year-old. She’s not contented in watching Playhouse Disney almost all day that she wants to watch Barney in the laptop when she sees me using it.

And because of that, I’m like a mushroom. Pasulpot-sulpot. I wish I could regain the online times I used to have but that would probably mean I’m back at work, which is not so fun too.

Anyway, we’ll see how much online time I will have in the next few days. I shall drop by your blogs so you know I was online.

Happy weekend, dearies!

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
