Helper Hunting Again

Yes, we are looking for a helper again. If you know someone who is interested, please let me know ASAP. Thank you!

Unfortunately, Ate Meriam will not be able to come back on September 10. She is really looking forward to it as well as Ayex. It is hard to pacify Ayex when she starts with her drama and keeps on saying Mommy alam mo miss ko na si Lola Meriam. or Mommy alam mo nalulungkot ako kasi gusto ko na nga umuwi si Lola Meriam. I swear, I hate it when she starts with that in the evening before bedtime.

Ate Meriam had an almost serious health issue and needs to rest for now. As much as I want her back, I do not want to compromise her and our kids’ safety. Ayex still keeps on asking if it is already September 10 the following day so I tried explaining to her already that Lola Meriam will not come back on time. She hardly listened to me so I am waiting for her to ask again. It will be a feat I am sure but we do not have so much of a choice.

My prayers for now are: may Lola Meriam fully recover so she can come back in time for the next baby (maybe early 2013), may Ayex understand this, may we find a new helper soon and finally, may I have more powers to take care of the kids. Help me pray too, will you?

Super Mom

Maxyn woke up a lot earlier than usual from her afternoon nap today. When Tatay came in to prepare himself to pick up Ayex from school, I volunteered to do it. I said I will just bring Maxyn along. So I changed Maxyn’s clothes, prepared myself and took the big stroller. As I was pushing Maxyn, I realized I made a wrong move. Ayex brought her stroller bag to school today, not the Hello Kitty backpack. How will I be able to push the stroller and pull Ayex’s bag at the same time?!

When we got to their school, the class has not yet ended. I saw Almersha’s mom by the swing and chatted with her. We talked about the exams, our kids and their classmates, and even the things we do to keep us sane. Then out of no where, I told her about my dilemma. She told me to put the bag on the canopy of the stroller. What a brilliant idea, eh.

When Ayex came out, she asked for some time to play in the play area with her classmates. When it was time for us to go, I still tried pushing the stroller and pulling Ayex’s bag. It was impossible! So I did what Almersha’s mom suggested and we got home in no time.

Child Stroller

I should have used Super Stroller as the title of this post. Hahaha!

Debacterol Did It!

I was suppose to post this rave last Saturday but we were very tired after all our appointments that day. We went to Capitol Medical Center for the girls’ follow-up check up with their pedia (after their bout with prolonged cough) and for Ayex’s ear cleaning. We were at CMC at around 12:20PM and left at 3 PM! Then we were off to Eastwood for our dental check-up. I was so happy we had a dental appointment that day because I cannot bear my sore tongue anymore. I was so close to crying because I cannot eat and talk properly! It was so hard, specially that I take care of the girls by myself at night. So the moment I finished telling our dentist my problem, she gladly offered me a solution. She said the medicine is a little painful when applied but guarantees very fast effect, as fast as a few minutes. I was desperate and I wanted to enjoy Zuppa Cafe’s Bulgogi Gogo so I agreed to take the medicine.

Dra. Jenzel had a hard time locating my cancer sore as it was almost at the farther end of the left side of my tongue. She said it was her first time to treat a sore in that area. She dabbed Debacterol in the affected area. It gave a tingling feeling and it was hold to keep my tongue still as I feel like choking. But after a few minutes of application, I was feeling a lot better! I was able to talk straight!

Unfortunately, you can only get Debacterol treatment from a dental or medical practitioner. If you want to read more about this product, you can check out their web site.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
