A Kid Friendly Hospital

That is how I will describe Asian Hospital in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

I first set my foot in this hospital more than 3 years ago when I had Ayex’s 4D Ultrasound. They have an exclusive area for Women’s health and since we didn’t wander around that much, it’s only lately that we discovered its other amenities.

It was a few days or a week before I gave birth to Maxyn. We transferred to Las Pinas because it is a lot nearer to where I’m giving birth. Prior to the transfer, Ayex has been having fever, only at night. She’s her perfect self during day time and we don’t know suspect a thing that may be causing the fever.

However, on its 4th day, to keep us sane, hubby and I decided to bring her to Asian Hospital it was a very good choice we have made.

We had a hard time keeping her calm at first because it’s her first time. Later on, she already behaved because she wanted to go home already.

Here are a few things I like about Asian’s emergency room.

  • The pediatric section is separate from the adult section.
  • The pediatric area is like an ocean with drawings of various sea creatures, with flying birds in the sky.
  • The nurses and other medical staffs are very patient and accommodating specially to screaming kids.
  • The pediatric area is equip with a small television that shows Playhouse Disney/Disney which entertains the kids while they wait to be discharged.

Ayex enjoyed the TV and the drawings. We didn’t stay that long. The doctor said it was only viral and will go away on its own, which it did. I am really glad that our health card is affiliated with Asian Hospital, we didn’t pay for anything. I just hope though that we won’t need to do that next time. I hate bringing kids to the hospital even for wellness check-ups only.

Buy a Blog Review for a Cause

Although my blog has been around the blogosphere since 2004, I still feel pretty new to the blogging world. There are several things I don’t know yet unlike those pro-bloggers. Yeah, you can tell I wish I could be one. I’ve been looking for ways of monetizing my blog and how else to improve it – overall speaking. I just found the perfect opportunity.

I am buying a blog review for this site from Mommy Rubz. It will cost me $10 and that amount will be part of the funds she will need for her baby Bella’s Hernia operation. Yes, it is a perfect opportunity, striking two birds with one stone.

If you wish to buy a blog review for your blog too and help Mommy Rubz, below are the details.

~~~~
We can help raise the expenses needed for Bella’s operation by purchasing a blog review from her Mom, Mommy Rubz. A blog review from her PR3 blog. The review is consist of 150 words (all positive) with 2 links (home page link) and an image of the header or screen shot of the blog to be reviewed. One link with the blog title as the anchor text and the other link is on the image.
Please send me an email (pehcats@gmail.com) with the url of the blog you want Ruby to review.. and will reply with the url of the post and the paypal id where you can send the payment and if you are generous enough, you can even add more to the $10 price… will be waiting for your email!
Are you in or out?
Unexpected Blessings
I’ve been winning in different contests lately and I’m very very thankful for these unexpected blessings.
June is proving to be lucky to us being the birth month of our little Maxyn.
Early this month, as I check my email through a computer shop, two emails made my day. First, we won a free photoshoot from The Picture Company. Our entry in their Funny Mommy Moments was one of the top 22 entries with most likes in Facebook. Thanks to those who helped us. This is one contest that I’ve been wanting to win because we all know how expensive a professional photoshoot can be.
The second email was from smartparenting.com.ph. I won a Bliss Yoga GC. I can’t really remember participating in their contest about Bliss but I’m still thankful. Too bad I wasn’t able to claim the GC and is now forfeited. I was too busy after giving birth and I wasn’t able to give my sister the things she need to claim the GC for me.
Another unexpected blessing is when I won at Yuuki’s YTBC. I was one of the lucky raffle winners. I really did not expect it because I had a hard time participating in the contest due to work and when I’m finally on leave from work, I don’t have an Internet connection at home.
Just a few minutes ago, my friend, Chie, informed me that I won at FemaleNetwork. I won a Bliss Yoga Manila GC again! I’m one lucky person, ain’t I? Hopefully this time, I will be able to claim the GC.
Thank you, Dear Lord, for these blessings!
Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
