Playful Little Girl

Too playful perhaps. Do you recognize them? I don’t even know how Ayex managed to put them inside the electric fan. Good thing I saw them and they didn’t interfere with fan blades, else we know what could happen.

Ayex’s 2nd Magazine Appearance

Her second magazine appearance is with Moms Today again, this time in their Milestones section. I actually sent her photo for the Precious Moment’s section with the theme “Celebrity Look-a-like”. I guess she didn’t look like Chacha (the girl in Camella Homes’ ads) that much in this photo. Still I’m glad she was included again.

What I like about Moms Today’s photo gallery is that each kid that will be featured also gets a prize from their sponsors. We were unable to get her prize the first time so I made sure we’ll get them the second time around. Her prize includes a pack of EQ Dry diapers in large (32 pieces) and a nice dress hanger with a lamb design. The hanger is pretty nice while the diaper is a good idea even if Ayex is already toilet-trained. Those will surely come in handy during long trips.

This is the full version of the page where Ayex is.

How about you, have you tried sending your child’s picture to magazines?

A Kid Friendly Hospital

That is how I will describe Asian Hospital in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

I first set my foot in this hospital more than 3 years ago when I had Ayex’s 4D Ultrasound. They have an exclusive area for Women’s health and since we didn’t wander around that much, it’s only lately that we discovered its other amenities.

It was a few days or a week before I gave birth to Maxyn. We transferred to Las Pinas because it is a lot nearer to where I’m giving birth. Prior to the transfer, Ayex has been having fever, only at night. She’s her perfect self during day time and we don’t know suspect a thing that may be causing the fever.

However, on its 4th day, to keep us sane, hubby and I decided to bring her to Asian Hospital it was a very good choice we have made.

We had a hard time keeping her calm at first because it’s her first time. Later on, she already behaved because she wanted to go home already.

Here are a few things I like about Asian’s emergency room.

  • The pediatric section is separate from the adult section.
  • The pediatric area is like an ocean with drawings of various sea creatures, with flying birds in the sky.
  • The nurses and other medical staffs are very patient and accommodating specially to screaming kids.
  • The pediatric area is equip with a small television that shows Playhouse Disney/Disney which entertains the kids while they wait to be discharged.

Ayex enjoyed the TV and the drawings. We didn’t stay that long. The doctor said it was only viral and will go away on its own, which it did. I am really glad that our health card is affiliated with Asian Hospital, we didn’t pay for anything. I just hope though that we won’t need to do that next time. I hate bringing kids to the hospital even for wellness check-ups only.
