Two in a Row

Hi Everyone,

How are you? I have been unable to blog since early this year and I know you have read here many times my desire to get back my writing mojo. It is kind of frustrating actually, wanting to write but unable to start because I always get stuck somewhere like editing photos for my posts then I just get lost. I have not even posted anything about my first grader’s back to school adventure. *sigh*

Honestly, I am still in the process of establishing our daily routine from various changes: we have moved to our very own home and Ate Alex is now in the morning class. Moving homes is a very rewarding and tiring task all at the same time. We just finished cleaning up two weeks ago. And when we thought our third week is already free, we were struck with bad news.

Are You Sure Your Fridge Needs Replacement?

Refrigerators are replaced too often in homes. Often as not, people perceive a decline in performance in their fridge as indicating that the entire unit needs to be replaced. However, this often isn’t the case. The lifespan of a refrigerator’s efficient use is variable depending on how well its components are taken care of, and whether or not certain components that degrade are replaced as-needed. While insurance companies and repair specialists in apartment complexes are quick to catch details like this, many people are completely unaware that they can save time and money by replacing individual appliance components, instead of the entire unit. Homeowners and renters responsible for their own appliances can save quite a lot of money by examining the root of the problem, even in large devices like a fridge. In many cases, the failings like inaccurate temperature aren’t the result of a faulty unit, but of a single component, oftentimes an air or water filter. Depending on the brand in question, items like an Electrolux refrigerator filter at electrolux-store.com can overhaul the functionality of your appliance, restoring it to proper working function without needing to replace the entire item. Why replace what you can keep? Before replacing an entire appliance, do a little research into the last time your fridge’s filter was changed. The results could surprise you and help you to save quite a lot of money, letting you spend it on more important things, like keeping your fridge stocked!

In Due Time

Finding a car that works well for your family and for your lifestyle can be a challenge. After all, it takes years to build a family and can sometimes take just as long to find the ideal car. Fortunately, Toyota offers a huge variety of vehicles to suit any lifestyle. Whether you are looking for something large to cart your children to soccer practices or a smaller, more fuel-efficient vehicle, you can find something that works to make your life a little easier and stress-free. Do not be afraid to look for deals when you decide to buy a new car. In fact, there are regular Toyota Sequoia promotions. Call ahead before you visit a dealership and ask about current specials and offers. Remember that many places offer trade-in specials in addition to regular promotions. This means that even though you will be buying a new car, you have the chance to save money while you spend. Additionally, make sure you ask about specials in-person while you shop. Are there vehicles that the lot is trying to move and will sell at a discount? Are there cars that are a strange color and nobody wants? What about if you finance through the dealership? Are there any specials available then? Ask as many questions as you can to try to find as much savings as possible even while you shop for your new vehicle. These are the things we did before and will do again prayerfully in the coming years when we are finally decided to have a new vehicle.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
