SALE: CORELLE, CORNINGWARE, PYREX AND VISIONS

I received a text message (I think from Raffles’ staff) last Friday that they will be having a sale. Every year, I wait for this because there are some things I’ve been wanting to buy but are not part of the priority list thus the need to get them during sale periods only.

Thanks to hubby who drove me to Eastwood Mall yesterday. I finally have my first Corelle plates. I met with Gabby, my sister, who also bought a set of plates for my mom’s place. I on the other hand only bought single plates, 7 circle and 2 square. I didn’t opt for the set because we rarely use the saucer and cups plus the sets only have 4 plates. We have 6 adults here thus getting the set would mean 2 of us will have to use different place. I don’t like that. I will post a picture of the plates next time. I also got a meat tenderizer as requested by my mother-in-law.

If you are into kitchenware, I strongly suggest you visit the sale. When I was there yesterday, I think half of their stocks were also sold. That means if you’re planning to go, you must go NOW! The sale period is actually November 13-21.

Take Care of Your Feet

Apart from bags, I also have a collection of shoes. Nope, I am not rich and not Imeldific at all, I just have the right number of shoes in my collection. Why do I collect shoes? It is because I have a hard time looking for a style the suits my feet best, read: will make my feet look prettier. Notice the adjective?

I don’t have a pretty feet to begin with, maybe because my parents didn’t thought of taking care of them when I was younger. But my feet are not that bad looking because I learned to take care of them myself early. I am very concerned with their look that sometimes, people with very nice feet attracts me like my hubby. Yes, hubby’s feet are prettier than mine.

What did I do to take care of my feet?

  • Never wet your feet when you are tired. If the soles are dirty, use a wet tissue or cloth to clean it. This prevents your veins from popping out from your skin.
  • When your feet got soaked in dirty water during a flood, soak them in lukewarm water with salt.
  • Always put lotion.
  • Use petroleum jelly at night and cover them socks.
  • Go for a pedicure every month. Do not put nail polish always so your nails can breathe.
  • Pick the right kind of shoes: design-wise and size-wise.
  • Get a foot massage every now and then.
  • When tired, elevate your feet to rest them.

I believe that no matter how pricey and beautiful your shoes are if your feet looks very tired, it will still show. Unless of course you are wearing a pair of boots.

My Fourth Payment from Adgitize

Last Monday, I got an email from Mr. Ken Brown of the Adgitize Team. I received another payment! Thank you very much!

The next day, I changed my ad image and was not awarded the advertiser’s point. I asked the Adgitize team through the Contact Us form and after just five minutes, I already got a reply! They clarified why I was not awarded the point and informed me that they already credited it to me.

Apart from getting paid monthly (provided I did my part), having a very helpful team and low advertising cost keeps me advertising with Adgitize.

How about you, when will you reap the benefits of being an adgitizer?
