Philippine Academy of Aesthetic and Age-Management Medicine refashioning ‘beauty’ and ‘wellness’

This September, another milestone for Philippine Academy of Aesthetic and Age-Management Medicine (PAAAMMI), a Philippine Medical Association approved medical society, is the upcoming 3-day convention (September 2-4) in Crowne Plaza Ortigas. There will be local and international speakers and a fellowship night is scheduled on September 2 where fun and surprises await for the attendees.

Alternative Strategies to Rapidly Sell Your Home

Selling your home in a busy marketplace is a patience game. You might wait several weeks or months for just one offer. When you are in the market to sell your home as quickly as possible, it is time to turn to alternative means. Explore your selling options today so that a buyer is at your door tomorrow.

Turn to Social Media

You might have 100 or more followers on your social-media accounts. Use the power of people to sell your home. Post fun trivia about the property along with some photos. Do not just post one time either. It is critical to keep up with the posts so that your followers see the listing as many times as possible. They might share the information on their feed as well. In little time, you might find the buyer who you need to seal the deal.

Create Luxury Brochures

Your home might be more than just a house. It has tennis courts, stables and other luxury items. These properties must be treated differently in the marketplace. Try a luxury home marketing plan that literally forms a story line around the home and surrounding features. Although this strategy takes some effort with the help of professional marketers, you will see a faster return on the home compared to traditional routes. Your real-estate agent and loved ones can hand out the brochures so that everyone in the local area is aware of your pending sale.

Are You Vitamin D Sufficient?

Last April, I visited my ob-gyne for my yearly “full-exam”. I told her the things I experienced the previous month that I do not feel before. And so she checked my records and found out that my last trans-v was 3 years ago. She gave me a request and was done that day too. The result showed I had polyps in my endometrium and that it is best for them to be removed. I told my mom about it and she was quite panicky to hear it. Why? Because she had myoma that she ignored and it eventually grew into a perfect sphere with a diameter of a saucer.

Fast forward to last month. So I feel that I am already healed a month after my hysteroscopic polypectomy. I visited my internist whom I last saw December of 2016. I asked for request for blood chemistry because the last time we did that, some of my results were at the brim of the normal level. It is safe to say that I am now serious in giving myself protection against these diseases. Lo and behold, some results were still at the brim but there were some that are already HIGH! To think that I have been really careful with what we have been eating!

So what am I trying to say here? I am simply saying that maybe, it is not just about our food intake and the exercises that we do. Maybe, we really do need supplements as proteksyon. My mom told me that she underwent a Vitamin D sufficiency test. And while the test said she is sufficient, you and I may not be. My husband and our children may not be. In fact, 7 out of 10 Filipinos are Vitamin D Deficient (based on a study conducted with Hi-Precision Diagnostics, where 8200 Filipinos from key cities in the Philippines were tested for Vitamin D Deficiency).

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
