Sunday Blast

I know it is Tuesday already and that my title is kind of inappropriate but just allow me tell you a short story how we spent our Sunday.

Ayex woke up early again because she dozed off as soon as she got seated in her car seat from our MOA trip the previous night. She did not wake up even if we carried her out of the car and into the bed. She was really tired. Hubby, me and Maxyn woke up at around 8:30, just in time to prepare ourselves for church. I insisted that we hear that mass because we have a busy afternoon.

Our first stop was at Jollibee Pag-asa. It is the new branch along Mindanao Avenue, near Trinoma and SM North. Niegel Zach, Elaine and Marlon’s son celebrated his 3rd birthday. Elaine and Marlon are based and Singapore and they just had came home to celebrate their son’s big day. It never fails to amaze me how fast food chains are able to run a party program in just two hours. By 2:30PM, we are on the road again for our next stop.

We were bound to East Raya Gardens where Frankie, Portia and Juven’s daughter is celebrating her 1st birthday. I was not able to print the map beforehand and I was panicking because hubby hates driving without knowing where to go. I guess all people who drives hate that. Thankfully, after an hour, we arrived at the place and the party has not started. Maxyn and Yex both recharged on our way and they were really energetic during the whole party. Ayex had a total blast! She joined almost all the contests and won most of the time! She really loved the Micky Mouse Clubhouse theme. I will post the pictures and detailed stories in our family blog soon.

I am glad I am so used to finding kids birthday gifts that I can do it over and over again. In December, we will be attending another party. First, I have to check my girls’ wardrobe first if there is anything I can use as their costume. It will be a Toy Story themed party!

A Nurse

That is what my daughter says what she wants to be when she grows up. Something that daddy firmly objects.

I think it is good that my eldest now has something that she wants to do with her life when time comes as early as now. She is just 4, turning 5. And I think her answer is driven by her age. To which my husband reacts and give Alex a better perspective. Well, my husband has his own dream jobs (yes, JOBS) for his children and being a nurse is not listed.

Too early to say, that is for my part. If time comes and she insists, we should give in. That is what parents should do, support their children in what they want and where their heart is. In the meantime, maybe I can fulfill her dreams by getting her her own pair of gorgeous and fashionable nursing scrubs.
