Thank You, Lord!

Ayex is into arts now. Since I thought her to make cards for birthday celebrants, she has been making one, even when there is no celebration. My birthday has been in her mind since a few weeks back. She kept on reminding me about it, as if I will forget. What a smart girl!

This is her birthday gift that she insisted me to take a picture of and upload it. I know, it is very obvious that I am not prepared. Hahaha! Pardon the oily face and the doodle in background that looked like my hair.

Home-made Birthday Cards

Thank you, Ate Ayex for mommy’s wonderful card! Mommy loves you so much.

Thank you, Lord for another year. May your will be done.

PS: The top I was wearing, I got it from the thrift shop. Wait for my post about it. It is really nice!

Richwell Club The Christmas Kids Craze Schedule

Among many other growing up behaviors I am faced now with Ayex is her bili-mo-ko (buy me) attitude. I guess it is her age and it is what she sees at school.

Just last week, while waiting at the ballet school, I told the other moms that Ayex is into Barbie now. No, not the dolls, but the accessories. The bags, clothes, and the like. I want to give her what she is asking for but the practical mom in me does not want to give in. Hindi maatim ng puso ko na bumili ng PhP500+ worth na 1 piece of Barbie clothing. So I said, I will just save and save and save so that when the Richwell Kids Craze sale is here, we can buy all the Barbie stuff she wants. I told the moms about how great this sale is. I told them to bring along someone who can line up while they get their stash because lines at the cashier are really really long! I told them that it is best to come on the first few days because sometimes, they ran out of stocks. And I also told them to bring loads of cash because they do not accept credit card payments. And lo, just the other night, I saw fellow mom, Peh, post the schedule of the sale!

Here is the schedule from Richwell Club’s Facebook account.

Pursuing Business School

Even before graduating from high school, I already knew what I wanted to take in college – I wanted to take up Information Technology (IT). At that time, IT is not yet offered in many schools as it just launched. It was almost the start of the first semester and I am not yet enrolled. I ended up taking Commerce with major in computer information systems management. Basically, my course will be a mix of business school and IT.

My mom said that in our family, I am the only one who is kind of business-minded. And also techie. Well I guess that means I did not waste my time and my sponsor’s money in my four years in college. After graduating in college, I worked in an IT company, but as a writer. Then I got married, bore a child and suddenly thought of putting up my own business. Business was good. In fact, if I only had the guts to pursue them full-time, I could have been my own boss by now. I am not that confident yet at that time. I feel like I have so much to learn still as my business courses back in my school days were just the basics.

A few years back, my mom kept on telling me that she wishes someone from us would pursue studying. I am thinking now, if I want to be my own boss, maybe it is time for me to heed that call. I will start by checking out on colorado business school because I read they have great programs. Then when I made up my mind, I will ask for hubby’s opinion. Aja, Nicquee!

I am participating in a blogger campaign by Bucks2Blog and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
